Actually, the Nick Fury from the Iron Man movie is modeled after the Utimate Nick Fury who is modeled after Samuel Jackson. He first appears in the Ultimates, which is a highly successful adaptation of the Avengers. You should look into it. It's pretty entertaining.

I remember when they fixed the Iron Man cartoon for the 2nd season. Even when I was a kid, I knew season one was crap.

Season 2 is the $hit, and the almost perfect telling of "Armor Wars" is the icing on the cake!

You echo my thoughts entirely! This second season IRON MAN revamp is AS good as anything Marvel OR DC has put out in terms of single season efforts. It's a fucking work of art from 1 to 13.

My quibble with this season is the show couldn't get the rights to Captain America and had to sub Hawkeye in "Armor Wars" and "Iron Man on the Inside".
