  • so park go'rs know how the economy feels! pom pom tish!

  • Wait a second. if batman is golaith in fiesta texas... THAT MEANS I RODE THE BATMAN!!!!

  • Six Flags was enough not invest twice in property which could easily be destroyed again.

  • Wow the park was only open for five years?!?!

  • Thanks for the video. Although I was super young, being only 14 now. I do remember all the fun rides. =)

  • still a beautiful park after all the hell its been through

  • 2005=That's when the zombies came.

  • so if hurricane katrina messed up the rides due to water...what the heck are they gonna do to the park now???

  • @airbenderairimi They demolished the park in janurary of 2011

  • so this park closed cause there was a big storm?

    how sad...

  • @AChoudz Its was closed cause the park was destroyed by hurricane katrina

  • @kevinnickjoeluver i know...

  • Yes its true. When we went it was so much fun and everything is untouched! Inside the buildings is so much fun! We even rode the rides by spinning them ourselves. Im sad there tearing it down because its so much fun. But we entered illegally by rolling under the gate. We almost took the blueprints to the park.

  • @mrbam11 haha thats funny!

  • @mrbam11 There didnt tear it down yet and it was planned to demolished in January so............

  • @mrbam11 Why didnt you take the blueprints?

  • the Mr.six dance coaster is now called little flash.(road runner express)

  • This only lasted 5 years. I bet if they would of invested money into it after Katrina it would still be alive. I really want to know why they didnt try to fix it. Too much damage?

  • nowadays that sign is so faded you can barley make it out.

  • Comment removed

  • @emmabugsmama its not up for demolition, i hva efamily there and they sent me this link

    southernstaramusement . com

it shows what they are planning on doing to the park

  • actually idont know where u live but im guessing theyve recntly relocated road runners express and renaming it as mr.sixs dance coaster in california bcuz i live in cali 20 min away from six flags and they have 3 new coasters coming in 2011 NOT 2010 1:green lantern 2:"mr.sixs dance coaster" 3:theyve redone superman and it now goes backwards AND frontwards :) plzz search it

  • why did batman close????

  • @mike2325el im not really sure look it up

  • @jdawg2396 its ok [= i waz just wondring [=

  • @jdawg2396 it didnt close its still up and running at six flags magic mountain the ride was first at six flags new orleans the it survived the storm and was moved to six flags magic mountain

  • @freerealmswarriorcat he asked why it closed at six flags new orleans and batman didnt go to magic mountain

  • @mike2325el I believe this is the same Batman ride that killed a kid that was trespassing. A group of teens were wandering around underneath the tracks and someone's foot kicked decapitated one kid.

  • @mkman7432 oooh that doesen't sound very good!! wow thanks for responding!

  • @mkman7432 think so too! Its on you tube

  • @mike2325el It was relocated to Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

  • @mike2325el cuz its get wet

  • @mike2325el

because a teenager went to get his cell or hat that dropped in the net under the ride and when he stood up to get out he was decapitated by the ride that was what it said on the news

  • @beeyerself wrong six flags buddy

  • @jdawg2396 oh sorry and i meantto like ur comment not to dislike

  • @beeyerself i think that was georgia

  • All rides are in the park, the only one gone is batman, park is still closed and is falling apart due to no up keep after hurricane katrina, looks to be no hope for it in the future, I had season passes to the park every year it was open starting with it being called jazzland, six flags wanted out of this park 2 years after taking it, they did not do what was promised by them, I.E. waterpark.... Just Dust In The Wind..

  • @jdawg2396...the sonic slam and bayou blaster was moved from sfno to six flags great escape in new york not new jersey...it was renamed "saquatch"...that really sucks

  • @jdawg2396....ummm how about....six flags georgia, blue bayou water park in louisiana, ummm an old amusement park named pontchitrain beach ( I think I spelled it right) it was new orleans first theme park it closed in 1983....the wooden coaster at this park was named "the zypher", if that helps any .

  • @jdawg2396....just to add....the "Boomerang" after its relocation to Jazzland was named "Zydeco Scream" it was located in the Cajin Counrty section of the park...it was one of the original "Thrill Rides", along with: Mega Zeph, Sonic Slam & Bayou Blaster(of which are now in a park in New Jersey I think), Spillway Slashout, & The Sky Coaster.....THANK U FOR THIS VIDEO...I WORKED THERE FROM AGE 16 IN 2001 UNTIL THE STORM IN 2005 AS A RIDE OPERATOR...THIS PARK WAS MY YOUTH....THINKS AGAIN

  • @danisha1128 thats very interesting and your welcome if you want you can send me requests on other theme parks i can do.... :)

  • i used to live in new orleans i remember everything.

  • Hopefully it can reopen

  • @wiedos2016 Unfortunately it can't, a lot of the area has been flooded from Hurricane Katrina

  • did this park like close or relocate?

  • @littlelivey12 closed because of hurricane katrina back in 2005
