First of all... My believe is based on what happened in my life and lives of many others. I know personally a man, who died after a car accident, saw God and Heaven, came back to life after hours of death andwas told by the doctors he won't survive a day, or two (he lost half of his inner organs) and yet, he is still alive and is an absolute miracle to the doctors. If you wanna stay blind just because you don't want to accept the truth this is your own choice.

You main problem that you know not the difference between gender and sexuality. Gender is not determined by what you feel, but by what is between your legs and your body. First of all... there are numerous Religions, not all of them centre around one God, and since there is no way to legitimately prove or disprove the validity of one faith over another (in an absolute sense) your "God fearing" means NOTHING to those who do not follow your belief system.

Even the ORIGINAL SPONSOR of the United States Defense of Marriage Act has now stated PUBLICLY that he, in fact, B-lieves that 1 SECTION of that Act directly VIOLATES the Tenth Amendment 2 the Constitution of the United States (&, really, it DOES). This was part of Y Federal judge*S* struck it down a few times.

HI Matt, I am an activist out of NY and I've been working with a group to get marriage passed here. I've got some letters out with the help of the org and sent an email out to my senator and urged my friends to do the same. Two State Senators are meeting with LGBT orgs--one has happened another is to take place next month. I think it'll be close...and I feel it may pass this year--it's about time!

We need to put together a comparative ad campaign that shows the impact of what is happening now.

For example

- Would you take away medical benefits of this child? How about this one?

- Would you not allow this person to be by her husband's bedside? How about this one?

-Would you take away the rights of this married couple to build a life together? How about this one?

Then end it with a NEW monicer - something like " WE'RE ALL HUMAN"

The message that people can relate to is the financial one. Commercials should show how gay couples pay more in taxes, and how they get screwed on inheritance.

Showing gay couples on sofas and their families is not something that a lot of straight people see as a problem. Everyone can relate to the financial issues.

The House leadership in Maryland should be put on notice that LGBT orgs will campaign against their re-election if they continue to provide cover for their anti-gay colleagues. A voting record must be established.

Also, what is your EXACT position at Stop8.Org on civil unions and domestic partnerships? CALIFORNIA PROPOSITION 8 2008 barred same-sex MARRIAGE, only. They HAD another legal arrangement 4 same-sex couples 4 some time now, according 2 the NINTH CIRCUIT COURT OF APPEALS judge!!! So, do we WANT civil unions and/or domestic partnerships "on the way 2 something better?" Or what? I would REALLY appreciate (as would MANY of my friends, quite frankly) a very clear position statement on this.

It's a degrading and humiliating step toward full equality.  But it is a step.

We need ads that show our family's and ask "what about my children? What about millions of children that don't have the security of a married couple? What about them?" Also, the teaching in schools tag... need to hammer that marriage is not taught in schools, hetero or any other type. We need children hammered into our side. It's time to take the gloves off and show people the real consequences of partners not having the same rights. Images and stories of people effected.. The acts of violence, images of gay partners waiting for returning vets...not standing at the gate..but waiting silently at home alone. The denial of visitation to ER rooms.

Images of hetero couples happy and joyous..compared to the ridicule of those that are different. Use their own hatred..and show how it effect us gays,

Ads showing real cases, real harm, real greed. NOM's anonymous donors bankrolling legislation. A bi-national married couple ripped apart when immigration deports one spouse. A widow forced from the home she shared with her wife for decades. A sick and dying woman unable to marry or share her spouse's medical benefits. A man in a civil union not allowed to organize his husband's funeral. Kind caring parents of a surviving spouse watch in horror as the deceased partner's family legally takes all.
