You make so many great points. The world could use more people like you; people who seem to actually care and try to help people. I don't know you, but I get the feeling you'd make a great psychologist. Has anyone else ever suggested that?
Do you think that by marketing these as "the girls' toy", and typically reserving building-block type toys and chemistry sets for boys we are also sending an early message that engineering and the sciences are not for women?
I completely agree! As a guy myself, I don't see whats more beautiful about skinny women. Everybody's beautiful no matter what their skin tone, hair color or weight is.

and kids would exercise their imagination way better if they made themselves some toys and let their own idea of the big world in front of them vivify ..

yeah but the thing is, if they make plus size barbies then people are going to complain about how it teaches children to be overweight...
I do agree though that they should make barbie a little bigger and less busty, less hippy and less perfect.
imperfection is beauty to me :) it shows personality.
