Myself personally, I love dark skin men, preferably African men from Africa. I am an African American woman, high yellow, with Spanish textured hair. However, I am not interracial. My father is very very dark and my mom is light brown skin. Although I am light skin, I love my people! I love my black people! I prefer to only date black men! I just think black people should love themselves first, and then others will love us back. If it weren't for us blacks, there would be no them!

My Mother is dark skin and My Father is darker than her and they still made a light skined boy, a dark skined boy and I'm brown skined. Blacks have 10-20 percent white ethnicity already even if we all have nothing but black children some of them will still come out being light skined since we have some white ethnicity anyways. Africans were mixed with Europeans before the arrival to the United States. You should keep in mind that Europeans once took over Africa in around 1600's, and since then the mixture of Europeans and Africans started. Once, Europeans left Africa, the American Europeans arrived in around 1800's and took Africans as slaves to USA. There's mixture in all races and the mixture process will continue whether people like it or not because it's proven that people are attracted to their opposite kind.

Myself personally, I love dark skin men, preferably African men from Africa. I am an African American woman, high yellow, with Spanish textured hair. However, I am not interracial. My father is very very dark and my mom is light brown skin. Although I am light skin, I love my people! I love my black people! I prefer to only date black men! I just think black people should love themselves first, and then others will love us back. If it weren't for us blacks, there would be no them!

I think that these mixed babies are going to turn against darker complected black people. I say this because most mixed people of black/white descent do not truly know who they are. They don't really have a sense of African/black pride and history. If you don't know your past, how can you have a future! My Mother is dark skin and My Father is darker than her and they still made a light skined boy, a dark skined boy and I'm brown skined. Blacks have 10-20 percent white ethnicity already even if we all have nothing but black children some of them will still come out being light skined since we have some white ethnicity anyways. I see your point about the beauty of diversity but the problem with your position is that people should be free to do what they want. It will take a lot more than 40 or 50 years for any race to disappear through interracial breeding. Also, each race evolved to the way they are now because of many different elements. Whose to say that we won't all evolve to be black in a few million years? The sun is growing more intense so it could happen.

The notion that all Blacks were "jet black" is not true.Admittedly, none were light or medium complexed with the inception of slavery. But I don't think at all every Black person in the U.S., not even 99.9% was jet black. Africans were mixed with Europeans before the arrival to the United States. You should keep in mind that Europeans once took over Africa in around 1600's, and since then the mixture of Europeans and Africans started. Once, Europeans left Africa, the American Europeans arrived in around 1800's and took Africans as slaves to USA. There's mixture in all races and the mixture process will continue whether people like it or not because it's proven that people are attracted to their opposite kind.

Keep up the good work bro. My grandma lived for a century and 5 years before she met her creator and she had a light skin. You know what I mean and she definitely did not have one of her parents being white. I empathize with what you say. The irony is that I'm a white guy who adores dark-brown women! My gf is a medium-dark-skinned Kenyan girl. And, of course, if I do say so, she's simply gorgeous! I love chocolate skin--but that's brown, not blue-black. Blue-blacks are fine, but I myself actually prefer *brown* women---**dark** brown, to be sure, yet brown nonetheless. But, again, I do empathize with the dilemma u articulate...

@minamilks It's not possible that a race can going to extinct. Two white people can have a darkskin black baby if they have only 1% black dna and the other way around. The same with blond hair and blue eyes. You have the dna from your ancestors hundreds of years ago. Recessive genes can past through dominant ones.

They appear in every largely populated area, some more than others. Because you don't see them in your four corners of the world don't mean they don't exist somewhere else. Just wanted to address the west African thing, im from London England and my family is from Nigeria and were all light skin and about ur complexion. Yes a lot west Africans are very dark but there are a lot of light skin people and the majority is actually your colour lol. For example the Ebo people and north Nigerians are generally light skin. your going off your perceptions from the media. I thought the same way as you till i went to Nigeria myself.

@datbwoity I think darkskin going to exstinct in the USA, what's so surprising about that, studies showed that in some decades the biggest minority group in the UK will be mixed people and the darkskin blacks are decreasing fast. You have to remember that the black population in the USA is only 13% and many black people there are medium or light skin. Hispanic people have the highest birth rate and millions of immigrants come to the USA in the next decades who help to extinct the darkskin blacks
