  • Timbaland's the shit, fuck whoever Khusara Khusara is. I'm suprised that you even know who they are...great job you know some no talent ass muthafuckas.

  • @KanimWhite84 how much talent does Timbaland have if he has to steal from "some no talent ass muthafuckas?"

  • WELCOME TO HIP-HOP! I could list 100 samples that Timbaland stole from... Mayada En-Hennawy, John Ottman, David Pomeranz, Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind & Fire, the list goes ON & ON... He's ripped off Lord knows how many people. I don't care though, he's made GREAT music with it. But of course people will complain because everyone wants money. Like I said, welcome to Hip-Hop. I can't hate Timbaland for stealing samples.

  • what hip hop producer even pays royalties? timbaland doesn't even sample, he just loops large, recognizable chunks from already existing music

  • @rolandbeatz247 What magic? Timbaland just put hip-hop drums on the song without making any other modifications to it whatsoever.

  • stop sample snitchin. u re ruining a whole culture

  • @TheNoCoincidence fuck you and your culture of thievery

  • the original song is not enty omry, it's khusara khusara:)

  • Um I would not buy this shit I would pirate and steal it. THis arab stuff is kind of hideous really. TImbaland re invents the music yo! He makes the Arabs shit sound a bit more up beat lol.

  • @ShadowDaGeek he makes it sound like something YOUR accustomed to hearing (ie pop music by adding few kicks snares and scratches) not all music sounds like pop music you know those songs were just as famous in arab world without kicks and snares in them

  • can anyone post a good hiphop beat without samples? or else i'm loosing my love to that genre....

  • Somebody call the waaambulance.

  • Just because someone creates an instrumental inspired by something else, it doesn't mean it was "sampled" as someone else said. Listening to the examples provided here they are NOT identical but very similar, so he didn't STEAL anything. It's not a Vaniila Ice situation.

Plus, Timbaland's been using eastern music as the backbone of his work for well over a decade. Not to mention, if he was "stealing" anything he would have been called out before this apparent "problem" came to surface.

  • @britrob24 so as long as your not getting caught your not stealing, so if I go into your home and take things which don't belong to me it's not stealing until I get caught, your lack of logic is incredible

  • @ATENakaATON

The fact that you couldn't even COMPREHEND my comment... not to mention you don't know the difference between "your" and "you're" shows you possess NO logic.

Shut up already. YOUR (not “you're..” see the difference?) stupidity is pathetic.

  • @britrob24 you'er using argumentum ad hominem for a reason and I think we both know why, if you can't address the subject at hand maybe it's because you know I'm right. The simple fact is he was stealing and has stolen from many.

  • @rolandbeatz247 I cannot concur, the original doesn't sound like shit. If it did, Timbo wouldn't have sampled it.

  • It is sampling!! Sampling is famous on hte world. Not only him sampling. Check T.I. 's "Live your life" or Florida "Right around" and more.

  • what a thief!

  • So whot you like to proof beats are for everybody go geta life

  • It's technically not sampling for most of timbalands productions... it's an interpoloation, because that's the only way it would be so crisp, and perfect, for some of his stuff sure it's sampling, but most of these examples would be interpolations

  • Enta 3omri - Umm Kulthum

    Remade by 7ossam Ramzy

What's funny is that Petey Pablo made this song into a song about the USA and all about being anti-arab and shit... disrespected my own people on our own music.. smh...

  • So nothing is stealing if they can legally get away with it?

  • who cares, i bet the original artists that are getting those fat royalty checks from timbaland aren't complaining

  • Pay attention! Timbaland doesn't credit most of his samples! The guy that owns 'Khusara' had to sue to get his money.

  • i am now, so, are you getting any money out of the settlement? or you just have no life that you worry about other peoples business? it also seems to me your ticked off because timbaland beat you too it!

  • yea i hav the peedy pablo cd and looked for myself. and he didnt say anything about sampling it. just mixing it

  • yo bro can u please send me the sample song, thx

  • Do you have any proof of this? Crediting the original artist may have not been in the deal that was made when this song was sampled.

  • @marikun

He doesn't credit them or pay them, he's just a thief.

  • @marikun Interesting videos mister!

You should check out Timbaland's 'Do it' that was done for Nelly Furtado. He actually stole the *entire* song. Not just a sample. The *whole* thing. Verse, chorus, the lot. It's old news but still. Timbo lost the case not surprisingly (aka they settled, ie cash for the finnish guy).

  • its good for both ends, americans would never hear that record otherwise.

  • It's not good for both ends if the sampled artist isn't credited.

  • to me the recognition should be enough

  • Like I said, you can't get recognition if people don't know who you are. I don't know where you get your morals from, but you should not take people's stuff without asking first. That's called stealing whether you personally think "recognition should be enough" or not. Timbaland's in trouble now because an artist he stole from (Janne Suni) did not want his song used for commercial use. If you truly respect the artist you want to sample, you should ask them if you can do it.

  • AHAHAHAH almost ALL HIP HOP SONGS FROM THE 80s 90s were sampled ahahahahah

    u guys are centuries behind

  • @neopandorex2 You have totally missed the point.

  • Comment removed

  • still a hot ass fuckin beat

    sampling is a GOOD thing.

  • Oh, and STOP CITING Kayne and Dre as examples of the same thing. As far as we all know, they put their beats through a sampling agency that clears the rights to the samples. Completely legal. Timbaland, on the other hand is a pompous bastard that steals without rights. I don't care how sick the beat is, it's still stealing. Until I see him apologize and clear the rights, he is has no respect in my eyes. Besides, Timbaland isn't even hip hop, most of the crap he makes is pop garbage.

  • legal maybe, creative? no

  • Whether you personally find it creative or not is an opinion, not a fact.

  • I agree. Kanye clears his samples.

  • Agreed. I am fine with sampling, but I am not fine with stealing. And this dude has the nerve to call Janne Suni, one of the artist he stole from, an idiot. My respect for him dwindles with everything he says and does.

  • Okay. If you actually dive into the subject, you will find that this is NOT sampling according to it's official legal definition. You will also find that many foreign artist have TRIED to topple Timbaland. But ALL have failed. Why? Most of these artists are thwarted by corporate representatives in their local courts and can not afford to hire good lawyers and fly to the U.S. to take it up here (where they might actually win). This makes me disgusted, as much as I love Hip-Hop and sampling.

  • as i look at more and more of these timbaland rip off videos...i just keep getting more and more disgusted

  • man i cant find that enta omri song anywhere :( i want it!

  • I bought it off of iTunes, if that helps.

  • Enta 3omri is by Omm Kulthum...

The remake is by 7ossam Ramzy

    search them both.

Im arab, i know these songs all too well lol

  • thanks man

a year after posting this comment i actually have solid info to go on haha

  • Who ever makes these comments about timbaland ripping off beats are IDIOTS just plain stupid he is sampling you idiots even kanye west and a lot of other big producers sample dummys, its really ingenious if you ask me, so what its good music listen have a coke and smile

  • you can sample but not take exactly the same melody...everybody's gonna hear there is no difference

  • all of them are still hot beats, but u gotta give credit to the original composers and masterminds

  • He should have at least given them credit like someone else on here said, but if he did that he wouldn't make much money. That makes him selfish a lot of artists do that these days which is really messed up.

  • ok sampling is when you use a drumbeat or a riff. which is a small part of what makes up a song.

When you take beats, chord progressions, and melodies from the same song, that is stealing. Which is what he did. Stop saying that Timbaland was sampling when he wasn't.

Everyone is getting defensive because we (including me) THOUGHT they were created by him and they aren't.

  • Wth!! none of the songs you mention are on the CD you pictured. and i searched for the songs you mention and the songs i got sounded nothing like the clips you provided. So first, you need to find out the actual songs, title, and album. Second, it is called sampling. Unless the actual artist comes forward and claims it, he doesn't have to pay royalties. Plus he could have not known who the artist was, but had a deadline and used it anyways uncredited. It is Called Sampling.

  • Have you been paying attention at all? Timbo almost never pays royalties to anyone he samples.

  • so its not okay 4 timbaland 2 do it but its ok 4 kanye? every1 should get the FUCK OVER IT LIKE

  • You can find the original video of Khosara in my channel, it's originally by Abdel Halim Hafez.

  • who cares if he doesnt have permission.......if he had permission or not the beat wood still be the same lmao

  • Timberland is amazing

  • he flipped that sample something crazy! nice timba!

  • this just shows y timbaland is the best

  • I had to buy the song off of iTunes and import it into iMovie. I might be able to upload it on here. I'm pretty sure that being an .mp4 won't matter.

The original is very pretty, so maybe I will upload the song.

  • what did u write ?

    enta omri by om kolthom

    classic egyptian female singer>>>>

  • Anyone that against sampling is against one of the basic fundamentals of hip hop. hip hop was found on rapping over break beats and that evolved into sampling. it's not a big deal, premo, pete rock, kanye, just blaze, RZA, timbo, dr. dre... the list goes on, a ton of producers sample. if they can flip something into a hit song, then why not? as long as the sample is cleared and authorized for use then who cares. a great song is a great song, i don't care if it's a sample or what

  • I think you're missing the entire point here. Timbo rarely if ever clears his samples and now he's in deep legal trouble for it.

  • hey i agree with u but the problem with timbaland is HE DOESNT HAVE PERMISSION. Otherwise, i would have actually somewhat respected him

  • can u compose a song first of all? can u make a sampled beat sound different from the original?

  • I am so sick of rappers excessively sampling other albums.

  • So he never made a original composition? Fuck is u talkin bout. Ginuwine whole albums

  • lol

  • Timbo got permission to sample this stuff it's in the album credits........

  • ...so permission makes it okay? That's uncreative and pitiful. Anyone that supports this kind of stuff is an idiot.

  • Timbaland doesnt sample all his beats, he has made thousands on thousands of straight from scratch beats. There is a reason why he is the highest paid producer, there's a reason he is a grammy award winning one. Some rock is different and a lot sound like shit.

  • If you think he has made a thousand originally composed beats you sir are mistaken. Let alone if you think he has even made his sampled beats your mistaken. There is a difference between composing something and producing it. Sure he may be one of the best producers but that could mean I made a beat, gave it to him, he gets an artist to sing on it and now he's the producer. He has a great ear but as much as his own original talent...I don't know how much he actually has.

  • SO??? =/ unocupied people... GET A LIFE!!

  • Could any of u make this beat? He does the same thing Dr Dre did for years and Kanye does now. Cause he takes songs from other countries it's a problem. Worry bout if he stealing song from US artists fuck other countries. Timbo 4 Life Bitch

  • even though he sampled it that is apart of hip hop ......sampling is the roots of the game.....and you can't front that sample was worth it

  • big pimpin obvious

  • it's called sampling ladies and gentleman, that's hip hop 101...

  • I've got no problem with sampling, but Timbaland samples from bumfuck artists who have no idea that they're being sampled and don't get any credit or royalties for it. That's stealing.

  • Um i think Techno does it, whateva genre Daft Punk, Chemical Brothers and Fatboy Slim does, they do it too. Rock doesnt do cause all their melodies sound the same

  • yeah he does have good taste but damn thats not right that he gets credit for it more people should know about this.

  • could anyone send me enta omri

  • so easy to do this....

  • not bad lol

  • my man add more key words to the description of this video like some frequently searched words and more ppl will see this video as they should

  • no shame this man, no shame what so ever
