Unless they air Dragon Ball, and Dragon Ball Z (Buu Saga)....the new kids of today might get confused with who Uub, Goten, Videl, and Emperor Pillaf are. As well as all the changes that have occurred to the characters since the Cell Saga.

dude i was so pissed when i saw that the buu saga was like my favorite saga out of dbz...but the fact they skip it all to go to GT is stupid i mean of course the old dbz soundtrack/dub would be different...but they could use the episodes form the remastered Blu-Ray which was redubbed better and looks better and also included the origonal japanese soundtrack used in Kai if they wanted...so they could do it but skipping to GT (which personally i hated) is bad should play Kai,Buusaga,Gt,DB

@ShadowTH555 I think that the reason that Kai ends after the Cell Games saga is because Akira Toriyama(creator of Dragon Ball)'s original story for Dragon Ball ends after the Cell Games saga. And if that's the case, then I don't know why they'd go out of their way to skip the Buu Saga and continue to the series that has even LESS to do with Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball story(I don't hate GT, I'm just saying that it doesn't make sense to air this before the Majin Buu saga)

They didnt even explain how goku became super saiyan 2 or 3 but only showed them in the movies and apparently how is goku gonna go ssj 2 or 3 or 4 without an explanation(buu saga,except for 4). goku just randomly goes ssj 3 and says only majin buu and janemba pushed him that far. next thing u know the viewers who have only see kai ask "WHO IS MAJIN BUU AND WHO IS GOTEN AND HOW DID VEGETA BECOME SUPER SAIYAN 2!!!" the point is the buu saga explains alot and without it the whole series is a wreck.

@remen11 That because they never remade the Buu Saga into DBZ Kai. The show ended in Japan after Cell Games Saga plus the earthquake stop the production completely.

Beside since Kai suppose to be close to the Manga version of DBZ, it would be hard to pull it off since the manga version of Buu saga is way different than the anime version.
