Tranny knocking

I had the same noise in my 84t. A couple days later i heard a loud bang, after that the only gear that works is 4th.

its your pilot beating and u might have to get a new shaft cause mine was doing the same thing and it runt the shaft and i noly drove it about 4 miles

i have a 89 jeep mine does the opposite what bis it help me

someone told me that would ruin your whole tranny

Nope. Plus if it was the drive shaft then i dont believe that it would knock when the car is siting still.

yeah its not driveshaft my driveshaft joint is fucked and the shaft is prolly bent but it doesnt make that sound

check your u joints or drifeshaft,, i had the same problem

I think its the Input shaft bearing. Or the pilot bushing.
