It`s possible that Serge had a bad period when he sang with Lara but if you listen to other versions of him singing the same song, you get ghoosebumps. His voice is strong and transmits so much. Lara...well, speechless! The best femme singer in the whole world!

Yes they are perfect together, but this song was really made for Lara Fabian! No-one can sing this song with such power and emotion than Lara Fabian -- no-one! Dalida sang this song well, but her voice was too sultry and didn't have the depth. Of course this is just my opinion. But when I heard Lara sing this song by herself without Serge Lama, she made this song as her own. She is truly a phenomenal singer.

You have to be French to really appreciate Serge Lama's voice.

And her stupid high note crap just ruins the song. This is a sad, forlorn song. He sings it perfectly.. and she just.. tries to 'Diva it'. Though there are certain parts where she sings well. But there's no reason to sing those stupid high warble notes on this song.
