I have reviewed/customised one recently - It is a very good blade, but like you I was very disappointed by the knife as it came in the box - I haven't uploaded the whole process yet but I would be grateful for any feedback.
But I will say this... you've made a great video with a lot of interesting and useful information. Just understand that you could have owned an OFFICIALLY LICENSED Hibben-designed version from United Cutlery for less than $50, and I hate to say it but the quality of the United knife far exceeds that of the Master Cutlery knock-off. Just my 2 cents.
The downside is primarily this - you own the 'Master Cutlery' version. There isn't a "paint job" going on with the original hand-made Gil Hibben version used in the movie, and the OFFICIALLY licensed version reproduced by United Cutlerly - which is ACTUALLY based on Gil Hibben's original design - looks damn-near EXACTLY like the movie version. Master Cutlery are not allowed to reproduce movie-accurate replicas based on Gil's design because Hibben didn't sell them the license to his design.
To each his own, it certainly seems like you've done good things with your version. I just wonder if there isn't a lot of misinformation out there... Gil Hibben designed the knives used in Rambo III and IV, and he sold those exact designs to United Cutlery ONLY. The other models out there are that company's "best guess" at what the spec's would be for the knives you see in the movie. Buy United Cutlery and you have actual Gil Hibben replicas. That's all I'm getting at. Best wishes and Happy NY!
Hi, i see you have the Rambo First Blood M65 Jacket figure, i have an answer about it: the body is realistic and muscular like rambo 2 and 3 figures or is more approximate?
you have a 5 star video and instructions but you could have taken note that the edge of the blade was used with means the paint was gradually scratched away plus it was stained by blood
What metal do you use?pls answer.

Hi,
Thanks for the lecture, but I knew this when I bought this knife.
I like the fact that my knife has ''RAMBO'' engraved in it. I don't care about the brand.
I'm happy with my knife after the customizing.
Thanks anyway for watching.

That's a question.
I have an answer:
His abs are muscular but he doesn't have muscular biceps.
The topless Rambo figures are more muscular.
Thanks for your comment.

Exactly, that's why I made the edge look used, like in the movie. Cause at no point in the movie you see the machete clean or black.
Thanks for your comment.
