What the tax the rich crowd won't tell you is that they are taxing the rich to pay the interest from rich foreigners which they perpetually borrow more from and pay more interest from in order to buy stuff from the rich foreigners and fund them even more at inflated prices as a result. In other words the rich people that provide YOUR job are getting screwed in favor of the rich foreigners... the greatest transfer of wealth! the phrase "Don't bite the hand that feeds you" comes to mind.

@longhairsRcool i create a formula for this. The parameters are Base Poverty Level (BPL), the progressive rate (1.1) and the tax rate (0.1)

Tax = (Income - BPL)^1.1 * 0.1

It tops out around $50,000,000 but the parameters and be tweeked.

Great Song.. but I must dis-agree with many of the comments here. We need to decrease the wage gap.. Not remove wage incentive, just make it reasonable. I have actually thought about this before and it's simply insane in terms of wages how some people like CEOS according to pay are worth thousands of times more than others in the business which is simply sick. @longhairsRcool PART 2: Vs. the highest employee. I don't know where that ratio is, I can tell you it's way to high now. So say you set the ratio at 12. So if you pay the lowest paid employees 8 dollars an hour then the CEO can only make 96 dollars per hour which is 8 times 12. This would do 2 IMPORTANT things:

1.The law would show that even the CEO isn't worth thousands more than another "Human Being".

2. It would encourage the company to pay the employees MORE so they can make more.

Umm...for those of you that got a Public Educations...TAX is an expense, businesses do not pay tax as it is a BUSINESS EXPENSE that is passed on to the consumer....YOU. Do you really think some "Fat Cat Banker" takes it out of their pockets and lives on less and less money or do they just raise their profit margin by increasing the cost of their product/services or cut your job/medical ? DUH.
