  • what's the main song? plz!

  • @MMJustJim Jorge Quintero - 300 Violin Orchestra

  • Okay So what if I spoted something wrong like benching and maybe 2 mistakes but half squats are better than full there more for burning and building I'm currently a hs athlete and half squats are fine but everyone needs to under stand tht it's not easy same ppl on here saying tht there doing it wrong probably couldn't take the pain.... End of my case

  • @DKDIESEL93 i disagree with you i think that "half squats" are very useful for building quad strength and putting on size. they aren't a waste of time. I do think they have to be done in complement with the full squat but it does have some fundamental benefits.

  • I like the powerball tosses!

  • it would matter because because olympic athletes are about explosivness and power. they do the lift correctly. they are pros because they are gifted (not to take away their hardwork and god knows some rely on that more then others) but its not an excuse for incorrect lifting imo.

  • Love the Art Of War Quote

  • Nmsu sucks

  • The coaches need to stop stroking the players' egos and teach them how to do the lifts properly. I would much rather see a 225 lb squat to proper depth than a 315 lb quarter squat, and proper depth is more beneficial to an athlete. And for goodness sake, please stop catching the clean with your wrists.

  • I see the experts are here to discuss the video...

  • Comment removed

  • I'm going to disagree with you. Most bodybuilders are the ones that you'll see doing "Quarter" or "Half" squats because they're looking for the isolation factor. Full depth squats are proven to make you both faster and more explosive, at the cost of having to do less weight. Unless your ass is below parallel, You're wasting your time. No excuses, No bullshit.

  • @DKDIESEL93 you re a bit wrong in this... quarter squats and box quarter squats when you do them along with atgs and box full squats, those are the real deal.... full squat is good for synergy, great for strength, but isolating some muscles and ligting more weight can help explosiveness A LOT... so try mixing them... also mixing exercises will keep your muscles guessing, which will give you a lot of versatility in every movement ;)

  • @DKDIESEL93 lifting*

  • It's not a complete squat because they're not focused on bodybuilding. It's more about power and explosiveness. Full squat will target more muscle fibers, but they're looking for power and explosiveness, not building mass. There's a difference.

  • 2;25 hahahahahahaha that is not a squat

  • 2:11 bro u can't squat that much weight with proper form. just take a few plates off and go ass to ground on squats. These guys are a bunch of clowns.

  • imagine at 1:21 those 2 guys were just fighting and thenew coach thought it was some kind of drill hahahaha

  • Everytime I watch this video I just want to get up and destroy something or someone.

  • This video is awesome, the one thing I did notice though is not a single one of the guys doing squats went down anywhere near parallel

  • I was an athlete at NMSU and now I compete in Olympic Lifting. A word to the wise the strength and conditioning coaches need to teach better technique in the Olympic lifts.

  • @pgascoigne99

and yet we have some of the best athletes in the world

  • somebody know the first tracks name ?? 0:18 - 0:35 ??

  • not alot of "pro trainers" seem to know how to do a proper squat. i see pro athletes doing jump squats with 225 on their backs, doing lunges, half bench presses, where do they get their degrees? they should stick to crossfit bc those things dont fly in PL or Olympic training lol. good music though. ps... i know these guys are still good athletes etc but they would gain from any type of training. but theres better training for them.

  • @rogue8853 these guys are pros for a reason there not olympic weightlifters so why would that matter

  • @rogue8853 When I watch videos like this firstly you cant blame the athlete because they are only doing what they "know" and what their coach allows. But when it comes to lifts such as the clean I dont know why strength coachs allow for this type of form and hitching..this type of technique can only lead to injury in the athlete now or even later in life. Complete disregard to an emphasis on form by the coaches is a real detriment to the athletes for the rest of their careers

  • what is the song?

  • i guess your countrys a giant pussy then

  • @SCBodyBldr Im a division 1 football player in the big ten and i have friends that play sports at some of the schools you mentioned. We must go parallel in order for our squat to count dumbass. hammies are so important in all athletics so going parallel to work quads and hammies and to avoid fucking up knees? yeah, @ThisIsMyAltAcnt wins. On top of that you failed to defend your point and when @ThisIsMyAltAcnt did make valid points you literally replied by calling him a dumbass. u suck at life

  • what´s song name plz? its awesome :)

  • i love this dude's motivating talk !!! :L

  • @TheDrummerboi94 lol same

  • whats the name of the song? it's epic daaamn *___*

  • @qwqw127 it's "The Gael" to start off with, dont know what the main one is

  • Nice video but with all the money they spend on such facilities, one would think that they could at least get a coach who has some idea of how to teach the clean and what a parallel (or full depth) squat is but apparently not. It seems they just let the guys do the exercises however they want in the weight room.

  • English comprehension waved bye-bye huh?

  • I'm actually pretty impressed with the conditioning. strength, not so much.

  • too bad none of this works out for them lol

  • apparently there's some people that know absolutely nothing about weight training in any shape, form or fashion that want to post about the form in this video. Form looks good and though the foot technique on cleans isn't like what you see from a competitive weightlifter need to keep in mind they're not weightlfters. S&C is one thing, weightlifting and powerlifting are two different things

  • @SCBodyBldr Ummm... what about the not even remotely to depth squats and the bench press with the ass lifting a foot off the damn bench?

  • @ThisIsMyAltAcnt I see you don't lift at all. S&C as stated in the initial post, since comprehension said bye to you, is not powerlifting. As far as that goes with the depth I see pwerlifting doing today they can't throw stones. Dude is at least trying which is more than I can say for many programs

  • @SCBodyBldr What are you trying to say? I can't really understand u. Anyway, they need to do these lifts properly not because they're powerlifters but because they need to avoid injury. If YOU actually lifted weights and knew anything at all about kinesiology you'd know that not squatting to parallel puts enormous shearing stress on the knee ligaments because you stop the weight at an angle where there is the most force being exerted on the anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments in the knee

  • @SCBodyBldr Also, training only part of the range of motion of squats is absolutely moronic for athletic purposes. You're developing ‘strength’ through a very limited range of motion, and your joints are going to make you pay for it the long run. Partial squats can build muscle imbalances by favoring the quadriceps and neglecting the hamstrings, which one again is not good for your joints. Stop saying "lol u dnt have reading comprehension" when you're clearly talking out your ass.

  • @ThisIsMyAltAcnt Oh it's quite obvious you don't understand. You watch a couple of bodybuilding videos and think you know everything now huh? You'd be better off not trying to expound upon things bcz in doing so you show you know nothing of lifting. I'm guessing you're like 14, just started lifting and think you know everything when obviously you know nothing of training

  • @SCBodyBldr Actually, I've taken a course in kinesiology, and your inability to refute any points I've made has proven that you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. However, your broken English has led me to believe that you may not even know exactly what you are arguing about, so let me clear this up first: are you saying that above parallel squats are better for athletes than parallel or below? I'm going to assume that this is, in fact, what you're arguing, and since you seem

  • @SCBodyBldr so adamant that I need to look up the "right stuff", go ahead and show me the proof that squatting above parallel is better. In the mean time, I'll leave you with this: google this "The Biomechanics of Squat Depth". Since you probably won't read it, here's the key points: Squatting to or below parallel is optimal for developing balanced lower body strength, and athletes who do those kinds of squats have stronger knees than those who don't. Now go ahead and explain why you think

  • @SCBodyBldr the athletes in this video should be squatting high like they are.

  • @ThisIsMyAltAcnt if you took a class in anything they need to fire that professor. If you think this is broken English then let me guess, you jumped the border? So let me clear this up....since you know so much and claim to know more than a a CSCS then you need to go to Nebraska, which is known for their S&C, and tell them they're doing it wrong as well as Oklahoma, texas, USC, etc and tell them all they're doing it wrong bcz they're no "ass to calves" as a dumbass like you would say.

  • @SCBodyBldr Stop misquoting me, you're making yourself look like an ass. I never said they needed to squat ass to calves, but you seem to feel the need to misquote what I say. I'm waiting for you to provide an intelligent response to what I posted, but instead all you can say is that I'm saying every college coach is wrong, which I'm not, I'm simply saying is that these particular athletes are doing it wrong. I said before, post your goddamn proof of these stupid remarks you're making or stop

  • @ThisIsMyAltAcnt Struck a nerve huh? Since your grasp on language is limited I'll dumb it down for you. When someone uses quotation marks it isn't always referencing a directly quoted passage.....it is summing up in a shorter version. My intelligent response to what you posted has already been said....couldn't figure out what CSCS is yet? Proof #2 is by the responses you've posted on other vids showing you know absolutely nothing about weight training in any shape, form or fashion

  • @SCBodyBldr claiming to know everything about squats. I'll post another fun little study for you to read. Google "apec deep squats". Since you seem to avoid reading anything I post about in favor of accusing me of being a 15 year old, I'll give you the important part: If you don't squat to parallel, your hamstrings don't stretch and provide a pull on the back part of your knee, which is essential to a healthy squat.

  • @ThisIsMyAltAcnt Just keep trying to google short bus and continue to show you know nothing about it. Since you're obviously a retard let me explain something.....Squats are done for quads. not hamstrings. Bench presses work the front delts but you don't do benches on shoulder day. It's ok kid.....you'll grow up one day

  • @ThisIsMyAltAcnt You obviously don't lift and have no idea about it. OUtside of some poerlifters somewhere within a couple of inches of parallel is all people do....or do you want to go tell pro Bodybuilders they don't know what they're doing either Einstein? What are you? 14? 15?

  • @SCBodyBldr oh, and by the way, PRO BODYBUILDERS SQUAT TO PARALLEL OR BELOW.

Go watch a video. Go ahead, I'll wait.

  • @ThisIsMyAltAcnt you might want to go look at some.....that isn't parallel what 99% of them do dumbass. What they do is totally correct for what they're doing butthere's a difference as already told you between S&C, bodybuilding and powerlifting. The more you type the more of your stupidity you show

  • @SCBodyBldr Just to clarify what I'm saying once again, I'm not saying "ass to calves", I'm saying you need to at least hit parallel or it's not a squat. Because you seem to be misinterpreting everything I said.

  • @ThisIsMyAltAcnt once again you're shoing your challenged IQ...I'd drop it if I were you bcz I do know training and you're showing you don't

  • @SCBodyBldr I seriously hope you're trolling because if not, I am seriously concerned for your intelligence. Don't bother replying back, I won't waste my time with whatever ignorant drivel you manage to spit out. I'll leave you with one thing: If you think that above parallel squats are what are best for athletes, go tell that to all the NFL coaches, because I have never seen a video of an NFL athlete squatting above parallel. Go ahead, search for some videos.

  • @ThisIsMyAltAcnt This one proves it.....you're underage wuth a childish response like that. When you grow up pick a college with a good S&C program like Nebraska, USC or one like that, get your CSCS and come back to talk with me. So keep up your vast knowledge by "watching videos"

  • @SCBodyBldr No, what it proves is that I've realized that there's really no point to arguing with some internet "bodybuilder" who I'm sure i can outlift. You clearly just want to get the last comment in so you can feel like you won, so go ahead. But I implore you, post a video of yourself doing your half-squats and enjoy being called a dipshit by everyone who knows what they're doing. Or just keep telling everyone you're a big strong bodybuilder in the comments with no vids to support that claim

  • @ThisIsMyAltAcnt "Oh. I won't respond" but not only did you but it took your dumb ass that long to come back with something? You couldn't outwit a box of rocks. Since you can't come up with anything now you're just going to start making shit up. I've never claimed anything but you're welcome to come to SC. It's obvious by your posts on other vids you know nothing and are probably one of those that know so much about law bcz you watch the L&O where they just arrest until they get the right one

  • @ThisIsMyAltAcnt that's all you got?

  • @SCBodyBldr lmao. I was getting pissed off before but your anger and tentative grasp on the english language is hilarious. Here's a challenge to you, since you seem to think you know so much more than me about lifting and seem to think I'm some weak bastard talking shit from my armchair. I've got a video of myself on my channel doing squats. Post a video of yourself doing as much weight as me. Prove that you know so damn much about lifting that I should listen to your words of wisdom.

  • @ThisIsMyAltAcnt Oh so since you said it's you it is huh? Either way I wouldn't brag about 385 weak ass. If you think I have problems with English then apparently it's just your 60 IQ can't grasp anything over the level of a 5 year old. Since I'm not some fucktard I don't carry cameras to the gym with me. There's vids of me on here from competition from the NPC....like I said, bring your little punk bitch ass to SC and you can see for yourself. It's that simple. Your stupidity is amazing.

  • @ThisIsMyAltAcnt You really are retarded aren't you? I've caught people using pics and vids of stuff claiming it was them and a couple of time it was of me with one ass claiming it was video of him at his last competition. Put up or shut up bitch sine you got all this crybaby mouth wanting to try and talk shit....get a map, find SC and come on. Simple as that. I'll show you how to train. bring it on or just sit there, cry like a bitch and post vids of some weak ass you stold

  • @SCBodyBldr Noone who actually bodybuilds would be sitting here on youtube arguing that above parallel squats are superior to squatting to or below parallel. Arnold, poliquin, Ronnie, they all squat at the very least to parallel. And you're for some reason arguing against that. Although I wouldn't even say that's what arguing against, because I absolutely destroyed you at that argument, so you've resorted to simply saying "IM A BIG STRONG BODYBUILDER LOL UR SO STUPID". Like I said, prove it.

  • @SCBodyBldr And I just want to clarify again, just in case you forgot in your tirade of insults, that you are in fact arguing that squatting to parallel is bad? You've never even said why. You've just called me stupid whenever I bring up valid points. I don't even know why I keep coming back here because there's really no point arguing with you, it's like talking to a broken record that just saying "lol ur stupid". Tell me WHY EXACTLY you believe what you do. I can't believe this conversation

  • @SCBodyBldr has gone this far without you even clarifying that.

  • @ThisIsMyAltAcnt you really are an idiot. I never said going to parallel was bad, I said it wasn't an absolute necessity. I said you were stupid bcz you said how terrible it was and if you ever bring up a valid point about anything I'll be sue to let you know. So you're the 1 out of 3 dumbasses that is failing out of the public school system huh? Once again since English comprehension is a mystery to you let me dumb it down for you. I said that the form was not that bad......

  • @ThisIsMyAltAcnt you said it was so terible. Learn to read. If you think you've even held your own in this that alone shows why the current crop of high schoolers are so ignorant. Yeah, you're so smart you said that Squats were for working hamstrings......and bench presses build calves too if you think that. You "can't believe this conversation" you say, I'm sure of that because you can't follow along. Awful hard to believe something when you can't keep up.

  • @SCBodyBldr They do work hamstrings, they work your entire leg.

    www2(dot)gsu(dot)edu/~wwwfit/lowerbod(dot)html#Squat

But since winning this argument is so important to you, fine, you win, I won't comment anymore, this is wasting my goddamn time.

  • @ThisIsMyAltAcnt Can't come up with anything after getting beaten over and over. Quads are the primary mover in squats....spend more time on google and better yet go actually talk to a CSCS or something. Keep claiming you took this or that class when they don't teach them in HS and just whine and cry about it. Since you know so much go talk to guys like Branch and Jay, they're IFB pros by the way, and tell them how awful their form is though their quads are bigger then your legs in totality.

  • @ThisIsMyAltAcnt Once again....get a map, come on and I'll show you in person. Bring a good belt, boots and some wraps

  • @SCBodyBldr And I'm not about to go to fucking South Carolina so some internet guy can show me how he half squats 315.

  • @ThisIsMyAltAcnt As said before, since you know so much come on down and we'll see what I squat. You'll more than likely be back after you go around for a while asking people for a comeback to an argument you started and lost. At 17 you don't know jack shit about lifting and is obvious by comments made here and on other vids. Though according to you you know more than a CSCS that does it for a living.

  • @ThisIsMyAltAcnt If you're going to spend an hour trying to google crap for a comeback.....look up the right stuff

  • new mexico state university........ shoot for the stars..

  • Although the weight may be impressive that is some of the shitty form I have ever seen..LOL at the guy doing russian twists. Some of the worst squatting I have ever seen.

  • i like it

    thats hard work for football

  • strength and conditioning in the USA uses some of the worst/most unsafe technique I've ever seen.

  • @pgascoigne99 American athletes lol at who ever you are talking about them thru the internet.

  • @pgascoigne99 didn't see anything unsafe tbh

  • @pgascoigne99 you a fool man

  • @pgascoigne99 youre right!!! i have seen some exercises that are dumb as hell... and most athletes workout without any form

  • @pgascoigne99 loooool... Name an example.. You should be able to, since you're such an expert...

  • @pgascoigne99 Like what ? I'm not criticizing, I'm just curious and want to know what's bad about what they're doing ! ;)

  • @DsKoRn have you looked at the guys bench pressing (ass off the bench), power cleans (feet way to wide and none of the guys achieve full hip extension or a complete 2nd pull), squat (not even close to parallel), Acceleration mechanics (how about NOT standing up out of their start), Using a wooden block on an athletes chest during a 405 bench set. What if that kid tears a pac on the way down? He not ony tears a pec but also breaks his sturnum and ribs. The list could go on and on.

  • @99bigkell Ok, thanks for the explanation ! ;)

  • @pgascoigne99 youre honestly fucking retarded

  • @pgascoigne99 Maby thats why USA beats every other country:P

  • @pgascoigne99 I guess thats why we have the best athletes in the world.Hmmm?

  • @pgascoigne99 It's not all of the USA. Bad technique exists every where. IT comes down to knowing the Olympic technique and then having the patience and diligence to coach it.

  • Give these guys time i swear they will show everyone who they really are. Go Aggies!!!

  • @HawkmanDude ohh ya becuse iowa is just sooo raw...sike

  • whats the name of the song in the first seconds???

  • @HawkmanDude ..CDW will get it turned around...sorry you feel that way!! sucks to be you;)

  • @polysci808 Just beat the worst team in the big 10 :)

  • @alexmacabees14 ..got your attention though didn't it!! all that matters at the end of the day...is that we got the W....and in all sincerity ...pray for Coach Kills!! The kids played hard...worst..best...they played hard and I wish them the best the rest of the way...just like I look forward to more W's with the Aggies=) take care14.. aloha!!

  • @polysci808 what is your take on the pittsburgh panthers football team?

  • @alexmacabees14..Honestly, don't really know alot about the team..i don know that one of the coaches at Pitt coached at NMSU at one time..thats about it...however...I love the Pittsburgh Steelers=) why? is that your team? If so..Go Panthers!! and Go NMSU!! take care now...and aloha=)

  • go darien johnson

  • anyone know where I can get the first sound bite and the second song?

  • @Formula858

The second song is "300" by Violin Orchestra

  • anyone knows the name of the second song please?

  • @Signo0521 300 Violin Orchestra

  • @ShoyuChickenXD ThankYou!

  • whats the first piece of music called? classical? please tell me i must know

  • @mix4her

"the last of the mohicans" sountrack

  • True. But here's a little known fact. The Aggies are only one of a handful of teams, if not the only college football team, that is undefeated in bowl games at 2-0-1, all Sun Bowl appearances.

  • Most schools that make it to a bowl game probably have players that can perform a parallel squat

  • @coachb58 so true lol

  • 50 years and counting about not going to a bowl game!
