This song gives out a huge message. I mean look at it, Mike Dirnt and Billie chanting 'or shut up and be a victim of authority' or 'caution police line, you better not cross'.
21stCB and AI has harder stuff to understand. Most fans just think the two albums are against the law because it says on the web. But really, it's hard to understand what 'Coca Cola Execution' is or 'favorite poison' ( The Static Age and Murder City).
Warning is 100x more punk rock than the song 'Jesus of Suburbia' which you seem to like but because you said the lyrics aren't whatever, that means you don't understand the concept of American Idiot. Admit it, you don't understand all the lyrics of Jesus of Suburbia. It's fucking hard. If you did understand it, you'dh ave some respect for Warning - one of the most punk songs and easily understandable.
@Junkpunker21 I was talking about something completely different. I wasn't saying anything bad about the lyrics to this song, I was saying that they're completely original. Someone said that this was a rip-off from the Kinks. I was saying that the guitar was similar, but the lyrics weren't. And I do understand the concept of American Idiot and the lyrics to Jesus of Suburbia. Of course I have respect for Warning. I have respect for everything that Green Day has ever produced. Fucking Idiot.
