I see your points but we certainly need more support to deal with Turkey, we cannot do it alone. Going back to our houses in the south is not the issue, we have to prove that all Cypriots can (& should) live together without and borders or lines.
I can only feel elated at such an unequivocal statement from a Turkish Cypriot perspective, and I must only ask what support in dealing with Turkey we need in your view.
Thank you for posting the video. I totally agree withyou, the problem is deeper than an ethnic division. To be honest,we,Cypriots, are't the most brilliant around as we killed each other only because we were told to do so.On the other hand,Cypriots in the south don't care about how we feel in the north, living underTurkish occupation (not only the army but also the mainlanders)Getting their land is more important than giving a hand their own'country man'Weshould not blameTurkey for everything
Speaking to a fellow Cypriot, it's great to have your comment on here, and oh, if only the comment you made could be heard more often ... the "Cyprus problem" would just "melt away" and become a very painful nightmare from the past.
i agree with some of things you have said HOWEVER lets be honest, greek cypriots want their land back because it is theirs. nothing selfhish about it, we want it back without even thinking of hatred of the turks, we want to die on the land that gave birth to us and that has our ancestors on for many years.
lets not forget that the ROC actually allows for turkish cypriots to live in their houses, many thousands of turkish cyprs live in the south, and lets not forget that we have given you free electricity over the years and hospital care.
