Ok been a Duran Daran fan since i was about 12, I'm 41 now and have had some famouse friends, Unfortunately not anyone in Duran Duran. I do agree that they should get back to the original sound..yet there are some songs I like on their later albums. Saying shit about them as artists or people is totally and completely uncalled for!! If you don't like what you hear, simply don't listen and keep your silly replys to yourself. How hard can it be??

...This is an interesting clip. At least I could understand Simon LeBon when he talked; certain dialects from England, particularly the northern section of the country, can be very difficult to understand but I think they deliberately slow down in an interview. Here is a group that obviously wants to stay fresh and hip and 'in' with their fans. I can tell you as a Durannie from the '80's. these guys had so much success it was unbelievable... good for them, keep going guys, you are wonderful...

this album is CRAP!! Don't buy it, Duran Duran need to stop trying to get new fans and be trendy, instead make great records, like what you used to make several albums ago and new fans will follow, look at Depeche Mode, they carried on doing what they do and collect new fans with each album, where as Duran make music not for their fans but to get on the cover of rolling stone magazine, JUST MAKE A BLOODY GOOD ALBUM FOR ONCE!!

@DaveRob9 I understand what you're saying, DaveRob; however, things have changed since the 1980's when Duran Duran was at their peak. In order to stay competitive, they have to stay on top of what is selling these days - even if that means that they have to compromise a little bit of what WE remember them to be, do you know what I'm saying? They are as much marketers as they are musicians - and only the clever will survive in today's day and age. Give them a little more credit... ;)

@HonRevPTB I totally agree....I think they are insecure about being lost with all the new crappy music, so hence they start to produce and write crappy music.  They should stay true to who they were like Depeche Mode, New Order, PSB all of them. Even Robbie Williams sticks with Pop Music, not garbage! Totally agree with you :)
