Not supposed to start this thing with the rear canopy open, fire issue
I am a sea cadet and we're at NAF El Centro and We always hear those F/A-18's and T-45's startup. It's a beautiful sound, and it never gets old.

"Buying" the thing is the easy part! ... it's the maintenance, overhauls, insurance, hanger, consumables, etc., etc.. that make it unaffordable for most. :)

@likeawhispr not to mention it eats gas, you would practically have to have a sponsership to afford to operate this.

true that, a full throttle takeoff consumes 1 gallon per 10 seconds
