Brittany Spaniel digs in water

My Brittany mix does the same thing in her kiddie pool. She also love to dig and stick her head in the water bowl and water bucket at the dog park. Hilarious!

This might be a poor question but my Brittany loves to go in the lake at our cottage but is terrified of almost every other water environement. do you know how i could teach him not to be scared?

@MrZachtheman Ease him into it. My dog was sorta the same way. One day, I hooked her up to the leash, and gently coaxed her into the shallow water. Now she's not afraid at all!

lol i've had several brittanys before. this vid reminds me of my last one...looks about the same and use to do silly things like that

@malissalovesmusic same as ours he is bloody petrified of water, pools, even a hose. i think the time we shot him with a super soaker traumatised him for life.

hahahaha! my brittany, Fuzzball does this too in her water bowl, and then she digs a hole next to her bowl, splashes the water from her bowl into the hole, then digs in the mud.

haha...they love do dig. mine has created a hole in the backyard the size of a small kitchen table.

I love the digging frenzy she gets into :) But yeah Brittany's do like to dig. Our first dog, Bow, was a Brittany and he LOVED to dig. They're great dogs though :)
