I learned how to do that in a few days. At first when I saw that I was like... holy shit how is it possible to do something like that. But after three days of practicing I figured out how to do it. I'm not as good as her yet, but I will be, soon.
So far every trick that I have learnt I taught myself but after sitting for ages just thinking Boston Mess through in my head I decided to look up a couple of tutorials for my next learning process and just wanted to say this is the best tut I have found for rubensteins revenge - good explanation and very clear slo-mo thank you
@mrtisonholiday This is true, technically the real Burke's Burrage drags the ball between the others, not over the top. The version I did in this tutorial is a slightly different variation, but the basic pattern is still there. If anyone trying to learn Rubenstein's was confused by this, I'm sorry, hopefully you got the pattern anyway! Good luck!
Girl jugglers are so awesome. I'm making it my life's mission to teach as many girls to juggle as I can. So far I've taught 2. I must teach many more :D
I watched this great tutorial a couple of times before and I think I've got it. Never noticed the (youtube?) tag :music red hot chili peppers-road trippin before. And yes, road trippin and the music in the video sounds a bit similar. I'm puzzled: did you use road trippin and played it backwards?
this trick looks so cool. i named my cactus after it but mainly cause they aren't many juggling tricks that make good names but it still looks and sounds cool. I hope to learn it before he dies. the editing and instruction was great!
thnx awesome tutorial i learnt tht in bout an hour an didnt evn mean to watched it twice went an watched somethin on burkes barrage an thn learnt somethin watched this an found id gt it
I'm a girl juggler and this was a really good video.. is it still rubensteins revenge without the clawing? and when you flip your wrist to claw the other ball you can eliminate that by clawing down sidewards instead :D
I still consider it Rubenstein's Revenge even if you don't do the claw, I don't think it really matters, just personal preference :) It's good to learn it both ways though!
Kudos!!!!!! Omg, thats amazing. I can't do any of the messes, and burkes barrage, wow todo that you have to be able to do takeouts. which i am far from ever doing.
Start learning them! Those are some of the best tricks out there :) You should upload some videos of your progress so everyone can give you advice too! Keep throwin up ;)
HaHA! Laugh of TRIUMPH! Thank you rather a lot for this terribly helpful video. Thanks to your brilliance, I can now do this trick. I had honestly kind of given up on it since none of the other tutorials I had used were helping me do anything but break things with beanbags.
Offtopic: I am thrilled to meet another girl my age who juggles. There aren't a whole lot of us around. I hope to perhaps meet you at the IJA festival!
Yes, actually I'm in the process of making both another claymotion video AND a claymotion tutorial. I'm very sorry it's taking so long! Expect it this summer, you'll realize just how easy claymotion is :P
YOur tutorials are ones of most easily understandable and clear in youtube I think. I mean juggling tutorials. It is very easy to go step by step liek you show = ) I was amazed about this trick quite while and then saw this tutorial and it rly helped me =) I can do it now as long as I want but not yet with claw catch, Im working on it atm =)
Having seen the old video of Rick himself doing this pattern, I assumed no one ever did (could do) his Penguin toss that is here called a claw toss -- wrong: Here it is, in the BEST TUTORIAL I have encountered anywhere. Thank you very much!
Thank you!! Very usefull tutorial, i had never understood completely this trick. And watching the beggining of the video I realized that I can do the burke's burrage but didn't know it was called like that, hehe.
i need to learn this. shouldnt be difficult to learn for me. a few hours of practise.
as soon as my 4-ball mills mess is ready, i will try some variations, maybe i can get a 4-ball rubensteins revenge going. 4 ball rubensteins looks amazing, i like patterns like that.
Hmmm... I've never tried it with a claw catch on clubs, I can do it without the claw catch, but what an idea! A claw catch with clubs, I always assumed it just couldn't be done, maybe i'll have to try that :D
yeah, exactly what ctjuggles said. I learned this trick about a few months ago, but i still don't actually know how to explain it. You did a great job!
Yeah I always make it compact when I perform it, but when people are learning they always freak out and try to go really fast :P So I just wanted to point out you can do it slower haha.
I like the music you chose to fit your tutorial. It has the tempo of the third ball in normal speed or the tempo of the entire move in slow mo. Good tutorial!
Very nice tutorial and very nice fluid patterns.

your burkes barrage was wrong by the way the balls needs to pass between the other balls
