Hey, I’m a young artist, & I would really appreciate it if everyone would check out my cover of Michael Bublé’s “You’re Nobody till Somebody Loves You.” Although I’m knowledgeable that Michael Bublé was not the first to record the song, my version was inspired by his rendition, nonetheless. I promise you that you will not regret giving my version of the song a listen, & it will truly knock you off of your feet! So please listen & enjoy! Thanks!
Hey, I’m a young artist, and I would really appreciate it if everyone would check out my original compositions “My Bluest Sky” and “Será.” “My Bluest Sky” sounds a bit like a cross between “Irreplaceable” by Beyoncé, “Water Runs Dry” by Boyz II Men, and “Tell Him” by Lauryn Hill. And “Será” is, of course, a Latin number that is very high energy, hot-blooded, and extremely unforgettable. Thanks!

I HAVE LISTENED TO A LIVE RECORDING OF "STATE OF MIND" FOR ABOUT 3 YEARS NOW. I RANDOMLY GOT THAT SONG ON MY IPOD AND EVERY SINGLE VERSION I HAVE SEEN HIM PLAY THAT SONG, IT. IS. FLAWLESS. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HE IS AMAZING!!!
@xDarkMonkx i don't mean to sound patronizing or like unappreciative of raul's music (i am a huge fan) but you have to realize that some of the best musicians are blind because they are blind. i'm sure you've heard that people who lose one sense experience a dramatic increase in others. such is the case of raul midon, ray charles, steview wonder, etc.
@jjoshyjj yeah i can understand that, but i mean with harmonics theres nothing there to feel its the top of the string your not pushing it down at all
@xDarkMonkx that is a very good point and one that i did not really think about. but i think i would attribute that to muscle memory. just from seeing him play, i'm sure we all can agree this is a man that has put in a lot of effort and time honing his skill. again, his hearing comes into it also because he probably "sees" sounds. he's probably now developed his senses to the point where he knows with machine-like precision what notes each position on the fret makes, without using the frets.
they are great because they work on their senses. being blind has nothing to do with it, paco de lucia isnt blind, steve vai isnt blind, vinnie colaiuta isnt blind, louis armstrong wasnt blind....... it all boils down to WORK work, PRACTICE practice. Of course being blind must have made his brain sense things in a different approach, but it is not a given thing that BLINDNESS ALONE will give you easy access to your talent.
@miguelbaptista see i can't stand people like you that simply want to argue for the sake of arguing. your point is just completely moot because if i was saying what i was saying in the way you are portraying it, then every blind person would be a great musician. of course it takes practice and work to get to that level. that's just something given. my point was that his level of musicality was a BIT more accessible for him because of his blindness.
From what I read now, I can see the point and I agree to an extend. Blind people must sense a more immediate connection with the movement/ body mechanics and the effects on the sound ( in this case) without being preoccupied with visual aesthetics. They can focus their attention more on cause/reaction than on the visual side, this proppelling their technique into what they feel. But, in here lies where I disagree with you ( continued on other post)
I may have misinterpreted what you wrote, Sorry for that.

god his timbre is just so nice and influential even when he is describing solemnly and succinctly how he plays. he sounds like stevie wonder even when he is talking, what i wouldnt give to have such a voice.
If you don't know how to define groove, you watch this video! There are plenty of telented guitarist; but his technique is sooo clean, tight, groovy, my shoulders move within the rythm without me noticing it! Great!
