I bet the money is just pouring in for the oh-so-productive Darfurians. Hey have they got around to opposable-thumbs thing? It's pretty tricky - the rest of humanity figured it around, oh, 1 million years ago - but i'm sure a few more millions of relief aid the Darfurians will get it down.
Threatening a 16 year old girl makes you sound really brave. So let me correct what I said: You a homophobic racist with no grammar and you don't know how to spell.
Okay, let me correct what I said: You are racist and homophobic with poor grammar and you don't know how to spell. (It's faggot and exuberance.) And threatening to beat up a 16 year old girl makes you sound really brave.
It isn't about oil. We're over there in the middle-east because there are people there who want to harm us and we're trying to keep that from happening. Of course, our lives are no more valuable than the lives of the people in Darfur, but when it comes down to it the government will want to protect its own people first and everyone else second.

Jonb, if it was about oil, why is the US barely doing anything on the Darfur issue? They tightened sanctions, but that does little good, as Sudan's primary customer, especially in oil, is China. That's why China has been resisting on the Darfur issue at the UN Security Council. If the US was truly serious about Darfur, you'd hear the White House talk about it publicly EVERY DAY, condemning China. They're not. Sudan has been spewing out a good amount of propaganda in regards to the oil myth.
Well, it's basically an open secret that many first-world countries don't want any part of African conflicts because they have nothing to gain from it. So, by denying it's a genocide, they skirt the issue of having to resolve these types of crises. It's not about oil, because if there was oil to be had in Sudan, the US would be making a big deal about it just like they did in Iraq.
No, all of the people and organizations you named know it's a genocide, but as per the Geneva Convention, they can't publicly declare it without being forced to take action about it. The treaty states that countries cannot acknowledge a genocide or humanitarian crisis and not do anything about it, so anyone who does not want to get involved can just say they do not believe it is a genocide.
That's the trouble in the West. We spend a lot of time talking, but not so much time doing. Thanks for a very moving video, you inspired me.

This is genocide. It is that simple. The developed world needs to put an end to this. Period.

It was an informative video, but I thought the music didn't quite fit in with the subject matter.
