To put things into perspective: our solar system is a small, insignificant blip on the corner of an average sized galaxy. Our galaxy contains 100 billion stars. Each star potentially has its own solar system (left over material forms planets). Each galaxy is seperated by millions of lightyears. There are around 40+ billion galaxies in the universe. The probability of life elsewhere has to be increadibly high...I would say a statistical certainty.
One day we'll realize we cannot give our help to poor people anymore, simply because we'll have wasted all our money out to launch probes out there in space to discover..... what????? Alien bacteria??? Come on! When either oxygen or hydrogen (both found in water) come in contact with silicon, it oxidizes, making silicon dioxide, which can't be used to create life.

You also have to look within the Kuiper belt and beyond at the dwarf planets recently discovered, and ultimately they will discover more within a few years time within out system. Finding life elsewhere would be the single most unifying event known to mankind. Our solar system, specifically Mars and Titan are probably the best candidates. I think within 20, 30 years we maybe very close to discovering it!

@HordeLord13 Actually there are 6 or 7 bodies within the solar system where we know there is potential to harbor life. You also have to look within the Kuiper belt and beyond at the dwarf planets recently discovered, and ultimately they will discover more within a few years time within out system. We once had 9, then 8, now 12 planets, interesting eh? Oh, and don't worry, we will see aliens within this lifetime, soon...

Finding life elsewhere would be the single most unifying event known to mankind. Our solar system, specifically Mars and Titan are probably the best candidates. I think within 20, 30 years we maybe very close to discovering it!

@ColomboNinja Hey, Much like the grand canyon, Mars is red because its covered in Iron Oxide, basically its rust. There has been no proof of microbial life yet, but there has been organic materials used to create proteins which are the building blocks of life found in our own solar system. a quick google or youtube search will answer most questions so look it up! :) But stay away from those wack job videos, there is a ton of misinformation so stay critical!

Jupiter is a gas giant planet, Europa is a moon that orbits it. "Moon" is just a label for bodies that orbit bodies that orbit a star. There is no reason a moon cant be earth like (there just isn't one in our solar system). So there is that... Also, you are clearly a paranoid nut.
