Jerrod, Jerrod, Jerrod. What can I say? I've been subscribed to you for 2.1 years now. I honestly can't give you any advice on how to get more views, more thumbs ups, more comments, and more subscribers. Since we're both on this same journey, I don't feel qualified to tell you what you should and should not do in your videos. I don't see how anyone else is qualified either. Since it is your channel and your content, I'm not going to answer those seven questions. No one else can save you.

@OkieMerrod83 That's the whole point, Jerrod. Your viewers should not dictate what videos you make. I don't want to tell you what videos to make. I think you are looking at this approach in a different way. Don't make videos just to get views and subscribers. Make them because it makes you happy. Don't worry about the YouTube partnership money. If other people don't like watching you, forget them. Do your own thing.

Honestly, I have a bad memory for such things. I can watch a mega-hit movie and not be able to tell someone the storyline within a week or two. If I were to see the same movie 6 mos later, it's almost as if I hadn't seen it to start with. I have a feeling I'm in for an ugly old age.

This may just be boilerplate but it can be valuable. I suggest making videos that you would be proud to burn to a DVD and give as a gift to your family. You can't please everyone, but you can please yourself.
