  • The beginning is always intoxicates me with feeling and memories I havent felt yet.

  • So fucking beautiful :')

  • I wonder why this nocturne was published posthumously if he did this at 17.

  • @KYUISOUT He didn't publish it. Who knows why. The mood is similar to the Nocturne Op. 27 No. 1 (to me at least), so maybe he was waiting to publish another piece that he liked a little better.

  • Chopin é tudo de bom!

  • I would kill to be able to play like this...

  • Seventeen?! :O I could never do that...

  • he was seventeen!!!

  • Composto a 17 anni.....cn qst ho detto tt

  • I visited his grave in Paris. One of my favorite composers.

  • This is what the 1987 Hallmark Hall of Fame Version of the Secret Garden Staring Derek Jacobi, used for it's Theme Song.

  • co za asy? :P

  • amo questo notturno....sublime

  • I love it

  • Toll!

  • Good rendition of the piece.

But the small section between 2:58 and 3:13 is played quietly, but to me feels like it should be one of the loudest parts of the piece.

  • im having terrible nosebleeds, and this keeps me calm. ty

  • the feelings he put in his music were so deep that only if you know what true music means they might touch your heart and make you want to cry......so it is a pity because that way only a few people have the opportunity to do this........you my friends know what mean.....

  • I played this piece too! look at my video! thanks!

  • @decemberbenjamin I did 'listen' to your playing of this piece, sorry my friend, you still need a quite of bit of practising! Otherwise an admirable effort! Keep it up!

  • Close to one's style the beginning...

  • My favourite nocturne of all! i'd listen to it over and over again and never get enough of it,

  • Who is the pianist in this recording?

  • 1:00

  • A very fine tone quality and very beautifully played in general.

It is surprising that Chopin was only 17 years old when he composed this nocturne.

One might argue that Franz Liszt was the greatest pianist of all time but in my opinion Frederic Chopin was a more significant artist.

I think that there is the same kind of depht and profundity - as in the Chopins output in general - in Liszt`s music only in the B minor pianosonata.

This nocturne will always be my first love.

  • @SchizoF20,

You are correct, "one" might argue that Liszt is the greatest composer of all time, while the remaining will argue for Chopin . . .

  • @SchizoF20 wow...... what a shame.. what the hell im doing then..

he lived short time, but totall full life...

    beauuuuuutiful... beautiful piece

  • Who is the pianist?

  • ....we don't know...we can only listen to Chopin's Music...which is enough

  • Best Version ever! Perfect tempo!! reminds me the pianist soundtrack :P

  • it is on the movie

  • Second that! I've heard quite a few versions but this one is the best i think ... so far ...

  • Nejkrásnější...

  • The most beautiful ...(Translated using Google Translate)

    True

    can't agree more

  • I love this part : 2:23 ... 2:36

Poco a poco el fuego crece y termina con un gran suspiro de desahogo... Hasta llega a doler adentro...

    Una obra de arte...

  • How do you get those minute designations to be links??

  • just type them out

  • *Thank you*

  • I've heard this @ a memorial service. It was EXTRA fucking creepy.

  • i think it fits well there... i mean it is very moody, suddenly its happy but then it goes back to a erie sadness, i like it :)

  • I love playing this song so much, I get so lost in it...

  • @differentmoods15 everyone knows you can't play this.. You called it a "song".

  • @pbryld hipster.

  • @pbryld stop being a smartass. so what if he called it a song?

  • Esta canción llega a lo mas profundo de mi.

  • From the pianist, right? I especially like Janusz's interpretation of Chopin's Ballade in G.

  • I think so too......

  • Me too..

  • Ow! It hurts listening to this. :)

  • Absolutely beautiful, I've been learning the piano for 7 years and have never heard a piece quite as wondrous pretty like that. It pours with emotion.

  • secret garden?

  • Hallmark version of "The Secret Garden", yes. That's where I first heard it.

Also, I really like the tempo the pianist chose for this piece. Played faster, it sounds like whoever is playing is afraid of this piece.

  • tocado por...?

  • Janusz Olejniczak

  • Chopin

  • @FF1890 jauzmz OLEASDJFLAKDSJk
