So smooth! Man, Matt, that sounds fantastic. I know this isn't a competition between guitars and they both have great tone, but for me the Tele has more of a distinct tone here; the Strat sounds a bit more generic, whereas the Tele sounds to me more chimey, snappy, and clear.
Frank Zappa once said that the name Frank Zappa and the Mothers had to be changed to Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention because the reference ''Mother'' meant Motherfucker which was slang for a great musician.

@MrMark9201 The amp was set at treble 8 Mid 7 Bass 7. The American SpecialStrat (and the Highway One) has the Grease Bucket tone circuit in it that allows you to roll off the highs with adding bass, Strat purists hate it, I love it: ) I think Billy Gibbons came up with the idea.
