I didn't realize this puzzle could jumble. I had always thought it worked like a 3x3 or a megaminx. I'm glad I learned this concept the easy way before buying one and scrambling/jumbling it up. thx RedRoost80 for takin a hit for the team!
@AeroSixWJ No problem. It was well worth the four hour reassembly after I took it apart.... >_>. I did, however, mess it up again. Solved all sides except the last layer. Messed up on the final J Perm.. Was sooooooo mad. :(
@1fastcubesolver Each of the large sides you have to do double turns. See how on the center there's three points? and 3 indented curves? If you only do one turn instead of a double turn, it will cause it to jumble. It seems people do not fully understand the concept. I'm going to make a clarification video soon. :D
@Orteth This puzzle jumbles. The larger sides have different pieces. You must turn them 120 degrees each turn to turn the smaller sides. If it is loose enough you can do a 60 degree turn, and still turn the smaller sides making it jumbled. 'Jumbled' means it can be turned a certain way, but is not fully functional. I can make a video explaining, or go to /watch?v=HKWxvPwYv1Y - That is a helicopter cube being jumbled. you can do a 60 degree turn instead of 180 and still turn it.0:30 shows it.
@MillieEverett511 I solved one of the smaller sides. the white side. Plus one layer. But it not being fully functional really threw me off. So I ended up disassembling it. I have the disassembly on video, but my SD card reader is broke. Need to directly transfer it from my phone. It'll be up in like a day. Took me an hour to rebuild it once it was all apart :p

so, to scramble it, and not jumble it, do you have to turn certain sides a certain way, how does that work?

@RedRoost80 So if you jumble it, how can you solve it? Are the turns that restricted?
1fastcubesolver 1 year ago
@1fastcubesolver yup. It's not that hard to get it back to normal, but the turns are VERY restricted. :(
RedRoost80 1 year ago
@RedRoost80 So after you jumble it, you have to get it back to the scrambled state(before jumbling), and then solve the colors?
1fastcubesolver 1 year ago
@1fastcubesolver yup

What is to "jumble"?
You scrambled it so you can solve it back... is that an error?
I just bought one tuttminx and... how to scramble this without jumbling it?

@RedRoost80 i still dun get it. if u can jumble it y cant u jumble solve it back or it is it unable to turn or what.
cubefan3 1 year ago
@cubefan3 yes. You literally can't turn it back.
RedRoost80 1 year ago
Ahh... yes. I did that to mine and took it apart again. Apparently it helps if you tighten it a lot so you will know if your doing a jumbling move.

@jak343434 except i like loose puzzles ^-^

how far have you got? yeah, when you start scrambling it, it becomes less functional! :S
