Yes, it is. The foam it is made of is very flexible, and since the airplane is very light, the crashes are never too bad.
It can stand a lot of abuse. And if you kind of land it like in the video, you can fly it very often with NO repairs. It has no landing gear, so every landing has a bit of a crash, but still NO repairs at all. For me to fly in any park, it is the perfect plane.
As far as I remember, Transmitter, receiver, soldering gun, velcro to attach batteries and receiver to the foam fuselage. A charger for LiPo batteries and paint for decoration. In my case I used colored duct tape and aluminum tape I found in the hardware store instead of paint. Strapping tape to be used as hinges. So not much.
The prop mount comes included, it uses the "prop saver" system. The kit includes two props but I have yet to brake the first one, the prop saver really works. I had to buy rubber bands because I broke the two rubber bands that came with the kit, learning how to install them. I ended up using regular office rubber bands, but a lot of them until the prop was firmly mounted. They haven't broken yet after several flights.
Yes, there is plenty of power there. I haven't learnt how to hover yet, the airplane is perfectly capable of it. I bought an extra battery because I can do 7 min or less flights. But there is a lot of power with the provided engine prop battery esc combination.
nice plain and flight..good job.. looks a tad nose heavy but not sure

rchugo 2 years ago
They include 3S LiPos in the RX ready kit. I don't know about LiPos so I bought the same battery they include in the kit.

rchugo 2 years ago
They are not. They are optional, sevos come with control arms. I did bought these 3D control arms which are longer.

oke thanks, and my last question: when you buy the kit, do you have to solder anything?? like the motor to esc or something?
rchugo 2 years ago
Yes, there is some soldering to be done. All needed connectors came with the Kit, but you had to solder them to the ESC.
lmavila77 2 years ago
is the motor and esc good enough for houver?
rchugo 2 years ago
Yes, there is plenty of power there. I haven't learnt how to hover yet, the airplane is perfectly capable of it. I bought an extra battery because I can do 7 min or less flights. But there is a lot of power with the provided engine prop battery esc combination.
