If you put your plumbline 25mm distance shorter than the first piece of wallpaper then you cant paper to your plumbline which defeats the object of marking a plumbline.

when you hang paper next to a corner your supposed to overlap by an inch or so because its unlikely the corners will the straight..if she was to hang paper next to that piece on the adjacent wall thers no way the join wud meet all the way...lol well thats my 2 pence
