  • Wow. To see these young people talking so calmly about their sisters death on television, is so powerful and amazing. I wouldn't be able to talk about it that openly. I'd break down crying but I would basically say the same things as these two.

  • To be absent from the body is to be present with Christ. Knowing this for those in Christ, for this precious little lady, gives comfort in these terrible events. Accidents happen... God bless this precious family.

  • you ppl have no idea anything bout thme until you read the book choosing to see by mary beth chapman until you read it do not judge them ok that book says everything bout thme and what happned!!!! dont assume

  • Come every one get real. Wake up and smell the coffee. That happens to every child from 2 to 10 years old. Some times things happen for a reason. God was testing Stevens faith. It was a tragedy when it happened like that. I mean sometimes we all loose the people that we love. dp

  • I am cryin at just Caleb's sppech!! Caleb, you are a very strong young man!!!!!

  • Poor Will, i have been praying for him and with this interview he is holding up well

  • The thing is, they don't have to explain ANY of this tragedy to ANY of us! They are only doing this so set OUR minds at ease about their internal suffering. These are good people who love the Lord and they need not have to explain anything....least of all to those of you who feel you have a seat in the front row to make judgements! Prayer is all they ask from you....not for you to assume what might have happened.

  • @cwacki but the thing is they do explain it very clear to us in may beths book choosing to see its really good you need ot read it

  • all who are still fans of steven they are still asking for prayer so pray for them still

  • I can't believe SOME of the comments here. Just because we have the freedom to speak doesn't mean we should say whatever we want. Remember that one day Will will have children and he has younger sisters who will one day read what we write. This was an ACCIDENT even if there was negligence on any persons part. There was NO INTENT to harm that baby. So instead of having an opinion or thinkin YOU deserve answers, PRAY for this family.

  • Maybe I shouldn't have called you ignorant, I'm sorry. But Steven did say he saw his son pull up the driveway and he was not on the phone and he was driving slow.

So, according to them, it was an accident and the son should not be blamed. Why wouldn't you believe that?

  • Her Bothers Are So Cutee .im sorry for your loss <33 Charley i pray for her in my blessings.

  • I hope and pray that my children grow up to be this mature, this kind, and this willing to accept responsibility. Praise God that we can all cry with hope....

  • I love how Will is wearing the Show Hope shirt... he has faced everything with such outstanding courage and strength of character... I cannot imagine the kind of pain he has had to deal with and overcome, and his ability to move forward and trust God truly inspires me. God bless you, son.

  • Why does the elder son yelling "why" to God reinforce his belief in God as he said in the video at minute mark 4:15 and proving "how real God is" right after his young sister was killed?

  • @BrainRazer

He can NOW understand that at that moment of tragedy he doubted God but months later when this was filmed he was able to see how God is lifting there family up above the circumstances and comforting their pain. I imagine that when Jesus died God asked himself why also, but then HE saw you. He did it for you.

  • @BrainRazer he's saying the very fact that he was asking God "why?" instead of disbelieving God altogether shows that his faith was still alive even at the darkest moments in life.

  • Blessings to the Chapman family! Unable to forget, but time eases the pain as God helps you go thru with life......and celebrate the joyous times...

  • There's no real telling of what happened. What's up with that? Just, "No I didn't see her"? Huh? I find this deficient. Was he looking where he was going?

  • @livnfree930 if you watch the first half of this interview they'll tell you what happened. Will was paying attention, but since there was a corner and Maria was soo little, they both turned at the same time. Of course he was looking.

  • @purenrggirl1 Well I listened. I didn't hear the thing about the corner. And I don't know...there's a lot of "ums" and "uhs"...not much detail to explain it.

  • @livnfree930

    Are you ignorant or what?

Watch the full interview before you spout out blame.

It was a total accident and not his fault.

  • @aaronmac1989 I did. I didn't hear much detail. Did you? Where do you get off calling me ignorant? Maybe you're the ignorant one. I do know that teenagers often drive with abandon, with speed and with thoughtlessness. Also, driving into one's driveway should be done slowly with carefulness. Something that teens aren't known for. I'm not saying he's to blame. I just don't understand the total lack of details as to what happened. Just, "I didn't see her' . WTF.

  • @livnfree930 Steven saw him drive in and saw he wasn't driving recklessly or talking on his phone. I think the reason there aren't many details may be because this boy's been through enough, and his parents want to honor him and let him gauge how much they talk about the accident. They've had to live all this out on the world stage, and some things really aren't any of the public's business. Will was in shock after the accident and may not even remember everything. They deserve some privacy.

  • @livnfree930 of course will was looking, but Maria and will both turned the corner at the same time, and didn't see each other. Also they said in mary beth chapman's book choosing to see, that maria was so little will couldn't see her. He was driving a toyota land cruiser which is abig car.

  • @livnfree930 You need to just shut ur mouth and think before you speak. He was driving a big car, ok? He couldnt see her. Cut him some slack! He's been through so much. Im pretty sure you done drive and have never been in the driver's seat of an SUV. May the lord be with Will and May Mary sue like in Heaven in peace <3

  • God Bless

  • I LOVE THIS FAMILY!They are such a real Christian family. They are not afraid to speak of God and their faith on national T.V and that says so much. God Bless you Chapman family. My prayers are with you.

  • I'd love to wring King's neck several times during this interview. He interrupts, tries to put words in people's mouths...

  • God Bless Your Eternal Family

  • this makes me want to cry, but i am (and I'm sure the Chapman family is as well) truly comforted by the thought of "see?". i love the family and maria Sue is completely safe where she is. God bless!

  • My heart goes out to the Chapman family, I know is must be hard to deal with Maria's death, but they know that God is with them, and always will be.

  • "He (the lord) is near to the brokenhearted."

  • When the brother said that God was going to heal his brother in a way that they were going to like a whole lot...that just blew my mind. These young people are so mature. Steven and his wife have done a great job with their family. So beautiful...

  • @CJMoneymom I hope we all have families like that one day.

  • i feel so bad for Will for all that he has to deal with and the family

  • I feel so sad about their FAmily. especially will who now has to live with the feeling that he killed his sister. may God be with them.

  • omg it is so sad
