THAT'S HOW it's played! It took me forever to do this note for note perfect, and it still takes all my concentration to do it today - I've been playing it for over twenty years now! (insert frowning face here) The only difference is that you don't chord it when tapping out the opening harmonics - it isn't neccessary. Still the best version of this sone I've heard on youtube.

......Wow, this will be my last and final post on this.Since you CANNOT seem to hear, I will break this down for you.

4-7 second mark- the HARMONICS are blurred and sloppy.

22 second mark- a note is missed.

54 second mark - the HARMONIC note is completely missed.

AGAIN, .......listen to Van Halens 79` album, where this is played correctly.You wont hear this sloppy bullshit.

This player, while competent is NOT a great player.

Deal with it.

@ognir66 - I find the harmonics and the tapping the easiest part to be honest I could do them great but could never get the legato riffing! Had the dexterity to do it but just never able to figure out the notes. I don't think you are a Troll to be honest I think that people have over reacted. We should all chill out. I was unfortunate to grow up in the 80's playing guitar when it was all just - FASTER, FASTER, MORE TECHNICAL, MIXOLYDIAN, ARPEGIOS! I just got depressed and went back to BB King :)
