@VMP666 I could be wrong but I feel the same. At the time Rhea of Coos died Roland Lost Susan Delgado and for Roland that's the end of all the miracles. There are much sadness and I think the affection is towards Susan. I think its as much about the story of Roland Susan and Rhea as it is about the original story Wizard of Oz. I would say it's two stories in one song and its beautiful

as far as I know the whole album this song is taken from deals with Stephen King's novel series of The Dark Tower , there's a wicked witch in the story of the protagonist's youth =) btw: it's my favourite novel series, just read it if you are into (dark) fantasy though I wouldn't strictly categorize those novels like that =D but it's something different from King's usual horror novels ...just to keep it simple
