It's really hard for me to conceptualize what's going on in the balance puzzle. I understand that you need to counteract the a weight with your own weight. Is this to make it so the crystal sphere has no incline and can thus travel perfectly along the rail? Does your weight sit in the room while the other weight travels into the opposite section of the scale? It's just difficult for me to see them as part of the same system.

@fieryphoenix2501 That's a good example of one that alternates two different pad files. pad2 in particular (the high whistle) is genius in its simplicity.

Huh. Never saw that view of the sphere when you look straight up. Also, the thing that confused me when I was doing that puzzle when the game first game out was looking at that giant hunk of stone attached to the rope when you're putting in the wedges of the sphere.

I kept trying to figure out what that was supposed to weigh, because it SHOULD be effecting the balance.

Blah. Probably the worst puzzle in the game. Great walk through of it, though!

that puzzle is pretty hard. Especially the zoom in crystal which doesnt appear from the far view is misleading.
