  • I love when a movie introduces me to music like this. Love it. Perfect for this scene.

  • This is actually a mix of Don Giovanni by Mozart and Hans Zimmer

  • I love the humour in this movie. Absolute favourite since I am a horsewoman:

    Holmes riding the shettie :D

  • @Stormwing14 hahahaahha im a horseman.... i feel more awesome than holmes :}

  • this scene was sooo awesome. everything, the story, the music, the characters, about this movie was just AMAZING. very clever!

  • pure Epicness

  • anyone have a lyric of this song?

  • @banyudroid search for: don giovanni - the commendatore scene

  • first 30 seconds = eargasm

  • @hands1337 No, that's not what I meant.... :? I mean like... Just in general... cause I know he wrote most of the peices in Sherlock etc. I was just reffering to him, not as in he made this soundtrack :s I know it sounded like it but it wasnt ment to be like that, I was just reffering to him about the soundtracks he DID write in this movie.

Again BEST MOVIE EVER GOING TO SEE IT FOR A 9th TIME ON TUESDAY :D

  • Went to watch this TWICE to the movies. BEST MOVIE EVER.

  • @hands1337 the majority of this soundtrack is by Hans Zimmer. There are several other composers, but he was the main one.

  • one of the best tracks on the soundtrack. I like Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the inclusion of the final scene from Don Giovanni blends very well with Sherlock Holmes. The opera was written in 1787, a few months ater the death of Leopold Mozart, and has been a rousing success ever since its premiere in Vienna, with Mozart himself conducting. I've not seen the opera myself, but i can only imagine that it's wonderful (having heard the Overture and several other excerpts).

  • Doesn't this peice just give you shivers :D I love Hans Zimmer I think he is a very talented composer and I supose being in love with Sherlock has some added benifactor to XD But honestly this peice is amazing, so is the rest! (Especially Discombobulate :D)

I have seen this.... 8 times now O.o..

    I'M

    SHER

    LOCKED

I know O.o This movie is just epic, actors, soundtrack, plot!!! Just amazing.....

  • @RandomGal98 who told you that Hans Zimmer made this soundtrack ? Hes an awesome Composer. But this soundtrack is not his work ...credit to :Nicolaus Esterhazy Sinfonia

  • Absolutely awesome! Loved this movie so much.

  • This is my favorite song of the soundtrack, it's amazing! :D

  • Don Giovanni! A cenar teco. M'invisasti e son venuto!

  • ah padron! siam tutti morti.... :3 wolfgang and sherlock! wow!

  • This was and is an amazing movie!!!!

  • 1:11 - 1:26 is amazing. HANS ZIMMER IS THIS GENERATION'S JOHN WILLIAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @ironman506 It's actually Mozart's Don Giovanni.

  • @ironman506 Completely different writing styles, so not really. I would say Hans Zimmer is the Hans Zimmer of this generation.

  • This one was more of a physical battle than anything else.

Non-stop explosions, fight scenes, battle, unending action etc.

The last film was a lot more of a psychological battle, because you assume the main bad guy is dead from the beginning. I liked the first one more.

  • There's no part of this I don't love :)

  • I never in my life heard a song as epic as this one!

  • Only the best track on the whole damn soundtrack. Don Giovanni + Sherlock Holmes = freaking awesome!!

  • Thanks.

  • ending was pure epicnesssss

  • Epic !!!!

  • And suddenly everyone loves opera!!

  • This film is AMAZING, even better when you've seen it five times >.> NO REGRETS EITHER.

  • 1:44

  • m I the only one who prefer' the first episode? : S

  • The entire movie blew a load--save this scene. This scene made me blow a load in my pants it was so awesome.

  • brought in the new year watching this movie. Ironically enough as Sherlock typed the end ? The clock struck 12am Midnight and fireworks could be heard from outside

  • Yes no shortage of alimentary percussion in this one, sadly, the only deductions come at the end and they're merely financial.

  • its the best film i have ever seen of sherlock holmes

  • It is not even hans zimmer who did this remix...

  • I LOVE this

  • I never knew Perfection until I heard a remix of Mozart by Hans Zimmer

  • @heroforages lol going for my third on saturday ;) RDJ couldn't get any better

  • Do you guys know which 1 was the soundtrack played when Holmes first met Moriarty?

  • Which song is the one that plays during the marriage?

  • watched this film TWICE. NO REGRETS.

  • @heroforages XD Ive seen it once, and im happy to say that im going to see it a few more times before it stops playing at the movies.

  • @heroforages Awesome...I will see it next week for the second time.During several scenes in the movie,I was, literally, jumping all around my seat.People next to thought I was crazy.Such an AMAZING movie!!!

  • @heroforages i saw it 3 times, each and every time was worth it.

  • @heroforages Me too! And actually I liked better the second time! And if I could I'd watch it a third time!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @heroforages I've seen it five times now. Still no regrets! :)

  • @CountessOfOle

I've seen it five times too and could go see it again =) !

  • @heroforages I have seen it twice too, but we are going to watch it with our class in school, and it's the third time for me :D

  • @heroforages my record is 6....I guess I shoudldn't be saying that to everybody right?

  • @heroforages 3 times. Probably going to be even better the 4th time around.

  • This film was so amazing I can't even give it a rating other then saying it was just extraordinary.

  • This song when Holmes say "I was wrong!"

  • I feel surprised at this scene where...... spoiler :(

  • Don Giovanni a cenar teco, Zimmerized. Never thought I would hear that. Interesting, and the scene with the lyrics Da qual tremore insolito sento assalir gli spiriti! and on is haunting. The music and lyrics fit so much with the scene, I couldn't bear it and I almost left the theater xD

  • THIS IS SO AWESOME! i reconize it from the Mozart movie. He could'nt have picked a better opera!

  • Zimmer is a genius!

  • The second film was far more brilliant than the first one! Double the ass kicking action!!!

  • Rape?! More like epic-fying it.

  • How dare they rape "Don Giovanni, a cenar teco" like this?

  • @brasz101 Yeah, definitely as xFirebird925x said: Epic-fying it. Or as I like to call it: Epicizing it. X3

  • Best movie evar!!!!!!!!!!!!! ROBERT DOWNEY JR he has the mental and physical capicty to act as holmes :)

  • This just made the movie... sex.

  • This was the part in the movie where I went: :OOOO Sherlock Holmes madea mistake?! And of course, Hans Zimmer just made it all fall together.

  • Hans had better win the Academy Award for Best Original Score or I WILL BE PISSED! He lost it in 2009 to that stupid dragon movie. So I pray that he wins this time. He deserves it! Give him the Oscar!

  • @TheShadowedOne1 If you are referring to How to Train Your Dragon, it didn't win. Both were royally screwed by the academy when they picked The Social Network. God what a train wreck of a score that was....

  • @mistahimaskwa Oh, wait. Your right. Nevermind the dragon part. But Hans Zimmer's soundtrack for SH's lost to "Up." I've listened to that score and it's not original at all. I can't believe that his masterpiece lost to that piece of shit.

  • @mistahimaskwa Zimmer losing to The Social Network was one of the worst things that has ever happened, that score comes nowhere near any of Hans Zimmer's work! Something went really wrong there :L

  • @TheShadowedOne1 The Social Network won, however John Powell, composer for How to Train Your Dragon's score, was an apprentice to Hans Zimmer and if you listened to the soundtrack, you would find that Powell did exceptionally well with the score to HTTYD as well (which means to say it was definitely worthy of an Oscar). Social Network's score didn't hold a candle to either of them.

  • The opera is so sexy. That's when I decided the soundtrack was downright epic.

  • I've always wanted to hear Hans Zimmer's take on Mozart. Brilliant.

  • Wow...this year's Best Original Soundtrack award for Oscars is going to be tense...I'm really really torn between HP7 Pt2 and this... I'm screwed. >________<

  • @xFirebird925x Same here...I'm just going to vote for both and be happy if either one wins. (:

  • I love opera and I was completely enamored with this entire scene.

  • This variation is genius.

  • Does someone know what the song is called when they're fighting in the bar? When Watson plays his cards, there is an irish reel =D

  • @MichelleSeven I'm not sure, but wasn't it the same they used in the previous movie? If so, then it's Rocky Road To Dublin!

  • @GellyWolf yes I know that it was the dubliners =P but no, this what not it! it was a fast fiddle reel, really awesome. I just wish I could hear it more so I could learn to play it on the violin... =/

  • @GellyWolf Dejavu.

  • The part where Holmes/Watson run to the opera, then to the other building...that part was epic...the overall effect was superb...

  • This is intense.

  • @1:32 is where it's at

  • The first 30 seconds are the best

  • is the opera part from notre dame de paris?

  • @MLGgrin6 I think it is Romanian Wind

  • @samlab0920 No it's not. Thats when they are dancing with the gypsies.

  • @MLGgrin6 whoops sorry

  • what is the opera music here?

  • @whoastupid From Don Giovanni by Mozart.

  • @whoastupid Act II: A cenar teco

  • This is the best track from the movie, hands down . . . but mostly because I love Don Giovanni. :D

  • Dang i wish there was an orchestra like this doing the Entire Commendatore scene. Even tho this is a variation of the Scene this still sounds Perfect.

  • Two master-composers join their forces to create a truly masterpiece!

  • @xanderbj The artist is Nicolaus Esterhazy Sinfonia

  • @reddnebbula psst, and mozart.
