This is a very nice example of conservation of energy but i dont understand the part where Ue the elastic energy got very high while Ug energy went negative??
I actually use this in an accounting class. Makes a nice basis for a presentation of how changes over time are reflected in financial statements. Students often benefit from a visual presentation, and this does the trick.
