I lv diz commercial!!! diz is rily cool! i was searching for diz since about 2 years!! finally i get to laugh 1 more time!! nice job by muniandy chinnadurai & muthusamy karupaiyya! and the paatti as well!!!! hahaha.....
I will never understand why so many people in Malaysia, Singapore and even Indonesia (mostly ethnic Chinese, by the way) insist on being called funny English names. I mean, I have nothing against religious parents naming their children, like, Mary, Christian, Peter, and whatnot, but in reality, those who go by such names aren't even necessarily all Christians.
it's just westernization. white man name is higher than chinese or hindu names. same thing in my country. Most hindus how hav white first names, all chinese hav white names and some muslims hav arabic and white name. it's a shame.
That's a good point actually but while I'm all for tolerance and acceptance of other cultures, i think we shouldn't forget who we really are. That said, i think if this were going on in real life, it would be a passing phase. My two cents. =)
I dont agree. I think 'Who we are' is an ever evolving identity anyway. Who wrote the book on what Malaysians should be? People can be whatever kind of wannabes they desire, I have no problem with it. It's all good. To be tolerant to all cultures is the essense of being malaysian.
Indians make up part of the Malaysian population, mate. There aren't only Malays in Malaysia. There are also Chinese and Indians. It's the same in Singapore.
