@tihon84 it's really the finer details like having super wide angle at 1080 or the higher frames for super slow mo it's really what you prefer if your into editing and getting the best picture or simply the hole versatile GoPro and just getting the footage out there
HD Hero 2 = People who want to get the better Picture
I also just got my GoPro HD Hero2 from Best Buy just 2 days ago. But when I tried it in the car driving at night it did okay but didn't look anywhere near as good as yours. This Hero2 is supposed to do really well in low light. Mine looked pretty grainy. Yours actually looks like pretty clear and not washout from light sources. What settings did you use? Guess I'll have to play around with mine more and try different settings and see if it get's better.
@LinoSacman I used 1080p with 30fps. That's absolutely it. Used the sealed case. Stock settings pretty much. Uploaded raw video to youtube. No edit whatsoever.
@matthys101 Look at the title, it says TESTING. And this was probably the first video with that cam on youtube. For potential buyers more interesting when unedited.
@matthys101 you know... that's why everybody is allowed to update what hey want and they can 'edit' it as they want. if i want to upload a raw video, i will... don't think you should go telling people what to do or how to do their videos.
If you wanna try HD vid or higher FPS rates .. better look on class 10 ... SanDisk, Kingston, Sony, Panasonic ... its not important ... better buy class 10, may more and you can use it in future, too
@bogdi1988 False. GoPro has said that Kingston cards work best with the cameras and it has been proven that some cards don't work at all. A class 10 card is required for (10 photo's every second) time-lapse.
@dirtypages Only difference i see between this and the last GoPro HD Hero is the resolution of the pictures it takes. I think this has a bigger sensor so it takes 11MP pictures instead of the 5MP the old GoPro could take.
I purchased the GoPro HD Hero2 Motorsports Edition (HumbleOutdoors $270 w/free extra battery).
Amazing device, I use it with my Mountainbike in the hills of Northwest Connecticut. The clarity is stunning.

Hey, thanks for posting. Question: what's with that glare ring or reflection on the bottom? Or is that coming from your bike's light?

@laughingcrows that's the edge of the bike

WOW! If this were filmed with my HD wide GoPro you wouldn't see anything in that low light. They did a good job with the new one! Thanks for posting.

@bogdi1988 Thanks! Meanwhile I have read that the cam has an 120fps WVGA mode. The old cam had max. 60 fps, I guess.
That's pretty nice. I like very much slow motion stuff!

@bogdi1988 Low light performance is obvious as seen on your video as well:
