First version I heard of this song was on Doug Sahm & Band (1973). Is this the original ? There's also an obscure 1964 version on YouTube by Ginger Callahan.
Great stuff! I think much of the best of Bill Monroe's music was made with Jimmy Martin. I've never heard this recording before so many thanks for putting it up.
