  • @wherethecheese - you are one pathetic, sorry piece of shit. Earl Monroe could say more in one game than you will in your nothin' life, bitch.

  • ... and in Mexico they called him Black Hey-Zeus (Jesus)

  • back in the day it was harder on the guards cuz there were no hand check fouls kobe would bitch if he played back then but then again he likes playin tough players some maybe he would be even better then he is now idk just dont just dont compare players from different eras the nba was different ever 10 yrs

  • nba players back then were such dumbasses on the court

  • @WhereTheCheeseAt hahahahahhahahahaah oohhh shit

  • magic monroe

  • they I is!!

  • the king misiek video

  • he invented skill

  • Earl the Pearl smooth as a Baby's Ass.

  • He is so much smoother than this crap noise

  • I think you should put it with music from the time...

  • They called him black JEsus

  • Earl Monroe was the smoothest player ever.

Earl could use his great moves and skill to get anywhere on the court that he wanted to go, and pass, shoot and score from what seemed to be impossible angles.

Even with the great skills of today's top players, no one can match Earl Monroe.

  • thnx for this comment

  • one of the first flashiest guys in the nba

  • earl the pearl, one of da greatest flashy players of all-time period

  • whats the song?

  • intro to EPMD's album Out of Business.

  • Earl Monroe forgot more about basketball the Kobe Bryant would ever know. Kobe couldn't carry his jock strap. Kobe will never earn the nick name of the pearl never in his life if he plays a million years.

  • Vive les Revers

    Énorme passeur.

  • great video, great song...

    well done

  • GREAT VIDEO

  • Pearl Vision BABY!

  • bullcrap he got game is a good movie the pearl was an innovater

  • playground

  • the pearl

  • I remember Earl the pearl on He's Got Game that movie is the shit Ray Allen's Character played jus like Earl The Pearl Thats why he was named Jesus

  • Earl "The Pearl" Monroe (Jesus) is maybe the greatest player I only pity quz I coudn't whatch him how he was playing in game ! ! !

  • Please, the name of the song and the artist,

    I need it!!!

    Great video!!!

  • Eric Sermon is the rapper on this song

  • earl the pearl at his best!

  • What an original. Wish I could've been in Baltimore ca. '69 or New York in '72 to see those moves firsthand. The game is simply better for having had The Pearl. Nice to still hear and see him from time to time; he seems to still enjoy talking the game he mastered so brilliantly.

  • Where is the name of the song?

  • EMPD - SYMPHONE 2000

  • its not "empd symphone 2000" its EPMD- Intro (off the album Out Of Business) the song samples "fanfare for rocky" off the rocky movie

  • You can see that Magic got a lot of his moves from The Pearl.

  • Great to see some of that "Baltimore Bullet Earl" footage

  • Does anyone know the artist, and name of the song?

  • It's EPMD. I wonder if it is before Parrish Smith set up Erick Sermon for kidnapping...

  • EPMD man dis beat is old skool dis da best here do u know wat da name of da song iz ? holla back

  • I remember watching Earl the Pearl on live TV back in the early seventies - he was so smooth with his spinning jump shots. It seemed he could score from anywhere at will. That was in the days when players were interested in having more skills than just a slam dunk shot.

  • My favorite athlete of all times !!!

I can't thank you enough baby.

  • BEST SPIN MOVE EVER!!!

  • this is nice...mu uncle was beast!! lol i'll make sure he see's this

  • yea ur uncle was a beast he was a great cameraman without him we wouldnt have footage like this of Earl Monroe.

  • LOL

  • hey scoonie, what you up to these days?

  • u kno im not really scooniepenn right?

  • no way really?? you had my hopes up for a while. i was gonna ask you for a michael redd autograph.

  • yea, im only 19 and the farthest i went with basketball was college ball freshman year (last year. The real scooniepenn is playing pro ball in Greece right now though.

  • good stuff, nice music. pearl was a legend.

  • I think of all the great players that have comprised the NBA over the last four decades. The "Pearl" was most the original and my personal favorite. Thank you for taking the time to put together this wonderful tribute.
