you can't really say that the gts250 belongs to the 200series...

when you go back to 2007. nvidia releases the 8800gts 512.

2008:nvidia releases the 9800 gtx... it's exactly the same card but with 3% overclock.

2009: nvidia overclocks the 9800gtx to 9% and calls it gts 250(and the chip is 55nm instead 65nm now).
