So... my Son turned 25 on October 17th (2010), he lives in Mich., and I live in Jersey. SO, I found him (for his B-day) a couple of tix to their show in Lansing, MI on Oct. 30th (Devil's Night... AWESOME!!). He took my 16 year old daughter to the show. He's been a serious fan for several years (and can play a LOT of BDM's shit!! =), and he could've taken ANYone to the show... and he took his Baby Sis!! Awesome. =)
Anyway, he got to visit with a lot of the band... I guess Trevor was awesome...

Most real genres of metal (black, prog, death, thrash) are written lyrically to express an opinion or belief about something (politics, religion, things of that nature) or are written as poetry, and wouldn't fit a rhythm if they were to be sung normally. While the instrumentals involved are fast and heavy to amplify the point the song is trying to make. Screamo, is only vocally based and has no intellectual meaning

So... my Son turned 25 on October 17th (2010), he lives in Mich., and I live in Jersey. SO, I found him (for his B-day) a couple of tix to their show in Lansing, MI on Oct. 30th (Devil's Night... AWESOME!!). He took my 16 year old daughter to the show. He's been a serious fan for several years (and can play a LOT of BDM's shit!! =), and he could've taken ANYone to the show... and he took his Baby Sis!! Awesome. =)
Anyway, he got to visit with a lot of the band... I guess Trevor was awesome...

@dudealision metal is more instrumentally focused and the lyrics are poetic. Most real genres of metal (black, prog, death, thrash) are written lyrically to express an opinion or belief about something (politics, religion, things of that nature) or are written as poetry, and wouldn't fit a rhythm if they were to be sung normally. While the instrumentals involved are fast and heavy to amplify the point the song is trying to make. Screamo, is only vocally based and has no intellectual meaning
