There is too much history between Brooke and Taylor so I can understand why Taylor would be so upset. Brooke seems infiltrate every part of Taylor's life. Taylor would have been insane if she would have tried to murder Brooke or something, but she has never done that. Let's not forget that Brooke has had many situations in which she has went insane, one being when she found out that Ridge was not the father or Bridget and went to an island and She lived in a Chattelhouse with two dolls.
