The controls don' t work in space; so how did you flip before reentry?

How do you install the mission from the website you provided? I don't understand the directions.

@TheLiLD95 There is no mission that I know of ; just the shuttle model to install.

when did you shut off the engines for entry into the atmosphere? and what is the purple flame coming out as you reenter? how do you get that and shouldn't engines be off? i don't know yet please answer thanks!

@GoingToBeAPilot1 The engines were off during orbit and briefly put back on for dramatic effect as there are no manuevering trusters before reentry. The engines were off during from reentry through approach and landing phase of the flight. Essencially a huge glider

@Destroier2142 Use shift+e then 2 for booster separation and shift+e then3 for fuel tank separation

@Destroier2142 Use the keyboard numbers...not the number pad. I dont know why you cant get it to work. Check if the panel is in the shuttle folder

um.. one last thing... i got the file and saved the fsx file to my saved flights... but no fire!!!! and there is a file with pictures called sequence.pic... what do i do with it?..... plz help asap.....

@sportspro100 Save the shuttle in the simobjects/airplanes folder then save the effects that come with the file to the Microsoft Flight simulator X / effects folder. You dont do anything with the pictures :)

@sportspro100 I downloaded the firetrucks and van a long time ago. Check the "ground and water vihicles section of the freeware websites.Or search FSXfiretruck and FS2004 vw van

Truley magnificent, that is the best fsx space shuttle video ever !! Beautifully filmed and edited. I can see it took alot of excellent work to put it all together. I particularly love the F-18 chase and flyby and the ground vehicles welcome home. Great tribute to a beautiful spaceship. 5*s awesome.

@TBrdOne Thanks my friend! This video did not want to be made. It fought me all the way to the end and was a pain to edit. But it was worth it :) I am so sorry to see the shuttle program closed. Do you remember how you felt when you saw the Shuttle launch for the first time?

Yea, I'm older than space travel :) I'm sorry to see this chapter end too, but I have high hopes something will stir the urge to go further with human space flight.
