Can someone exaplain this to me.... i have hpv that is c1n1 no warts or nothing just minor cell changes on my cervix. why is it that my husband is occassionally gets like a little gathering of TINY i mean TINY bead like sores doesnt look quite like herpes im assuming it is some form on his penis. I never had this on my vagina. He only gets it on occasion and we are having unprotected sex
I have HPV too I have low risk C1n1 diagnosed about 8 months ago or more. Honestly....i think its terrible what happened to you but HPV is not something that you are born with and it develops you get it from having sex like 90 percent of the time from your partner/partners. I know for a fact if I had not cheated I would not have this. Therefor when doctors say some people have this naturally I can tell in their expression they are frowning on you because they know exactly how you got it.

Just want to add I am shocked you had to pay and had to wait. I was lucky. Here in Canada its covered under OHIP. I went to a walk in for a regular pap test (due to not having a doctor still dont have one as hard to get) the walk in doctor then booked me into a hospital right away for a scraping. They called days later and in a week I had the LEEP operation. High risk or not I cant believe they had you wait... I was so scared I cant imagine your fear.
@CatpurrRobertaBobbi yeah i hear alot about in canada they take better care of you i live in cali so they dont really take care of you as good unless you have money or great insurance witch i dont have either so its very hard and at times very scary we all just need to spread the word more often and get people to open there eyes and realize nobody is safe when it comes to this topic
I hope it turned out okay for you your video is a must see. I had level 3 pre cervical after years of being alone and being very safe when I was active. I was very very aware of STD protection. HPV may or may not be a major infection. You may or may not never know. So little is known about HPV. Get a pap often.

@Msjhae2010 yes i had got the shot before i got hpv my thoughts on the shot is it good in a way but only protects u from some strings of HPV it does not protect u from all strans of HPV so its still possible to get HPV even with gardasil but i still recomend the shot because it does proyect u from the most common strands of HPV

it's nice to see people speaking out. hpv is the MOST COMMON std. often not showing ANY symptoms for months or years later, if never at all, it is the most dangerous. It can be spread only through skin to skin contactt. condoms offer NO protection for this virus. 50-75% of women will have or will have had the active virus. there are 30 or 32 different HPV strains. 4 of which are commonly associated with cervical cancer. I have HPV and I am an engineer who works for the largest STD dating and support site STDslove. com. I have to tell you a secret, you can choose not to believe me. But the truth is that this site has more than 1,880,000 members and about 80% members are good looking in my estimation.
Unfortunately, STD rates soar worldwide and most people with STDs don't even know that they have them. The government should grant more money for STD education to lower the rates of STD transmission.

You are an amazing, strong woman. I enjoyed watching your video. I just went in for a pap smear and it came back "abnormal-low grade". My doctor didn't tell me if that means if I have HPV or not, so I'm kind of confused. But he did say I need to come in for a colposcopy and I'm really scared about that, if it will hurt, etc. I will say this much, about cancer in general-The medical industry is very misinformed, and cancer (any kind) CAN NOT survive/grow in an ALKALINE body. Only in acidic body.

Im 15 and have got 2 of 3 injections to help reduce the risks hpv by like 80% :/ it shuda been invented hundreds of years ago tho! Hope u get well soon and your a warrior by the sound of it .. I had a CKC biopsy. Beforehand I was scared to DEATH lol. Looking back, it was NOTHING. Absolutely painless :)! It's the anticipation anxiety that gets ya :)! Mine was only stage 2 pre cancer, caught it early I guess. Hope yours went well and thanks for sharing!!

I am 5 months pregnant right and just found out i tested positive for HPV and i'm really scared. Was told i was high-risk hpv. They can't do anything until i deliver my baby.

it's nice to see people speaking out. hpv is the MOST COMMON std. often not showing ANY symptoms for months or years later, if never at all, it is the most dangerous. It can be spread only through skin to skin contactt. condoms offer NO protection for this virus. 50-75% of women will have or will have had the active virus. there are 30 or 32 different HPV strains. 4 of which are commonly associated with cervical cancer. BE SAFE, abstain.

AND to note, the skin to skin contact-- it doesn't just have to be vaginal, or anal contact, it can be oral and cause head and neck cancer ...throat cancer's been linked to hpv. there are about 6 million new cases of HPV each year, 74% of which happen in 15-24 year olds. and let me edit **there are 30-40 HPV strains** Make sure, if you're 26 or younger, you get your GARDISIL VACCINE.

I was just diagnosed with HPV and I am SO scared because I only recently got engaged to the first guy that I have let in and that has not made me feel worthless. I thought I was a slut when my doctor told me. I feel completely for you. I like to believe that I am a fighter and survivor as well because I was molested raped and abused by male family members and I am currently putting myself through college after all that because I am sick of being a victim. Im so sorry to hear about HPV & Cervical cancer.
I hope the Drs go well and it is successful.
I havent yet had a pap smear and im 19 with a 14month and due for my second in 4 days!
My GP has me written down for one after the birth and i think ill def have one as soon as i can.
I know itd be so hard to share this but i feel it may inspire more women to get regular pap smears as it can save your life!
