and another thing, Nikko wasn't just limited to making crappy walmart version of shit RC cars look up Nikko Pro Class you will find a few videos of them, Lamborghini Murcielago. install a lithium ion battery pack or liop pack and a high end motor and stacked fets then it can easily get to those speeds

BTW since you said you have all GPM parts, did you also get the GPM front and rear ball diffs or did you get the Atomic ball diffs.

if you got the GPM ones did you have any issues with them when you first got them, mine are grinding like mad wen you hold one of the tires, the thrust plates are not smooth causing the diff to click and stick, i have tried to break them but the thrust plates are causing the bearings to get screwed.

Frank told me with his words that the only 50mph xmod he's seen was on a dyno ,and the fastest on the ground was 24 or 25mph. He also said if an xmod even had the capability to reach 34mph or 40mph it would just fall apart, even if it had all of the gpm parts.

He said that xmods just were not made for what they do to them

But I do beleive that you have seen a 50mph xmod.

There's really no telling as to there being a limit on how much you can customize your Xmod yourself...the sky's the limit, its all up to you dishing out the cash for it.

...but GEN1s are much harder to come by now-a-days.

I doubt that you have so many 40-50MPH cars; I guarantee you that they are a lot slower than you think.

Nothing is going 50MPH with high torque; you barely have the range on an Xmod radio to get up to 30MPH.

And as for V2.2s...they are OK. They can take like 16V, but the Xmod board burns out at 8.6 and the V2 is shitty when it comes to <30T motors, its not safe at all.

Woah Nelly was the best ever, but like I said, ph2t no longer makes them. The stacked nelly was the best BY FAR.

i'm pretty pleased with the chilli actually and the v2.2 board my friend is the best you can get and the spiderz are crap compared to a v2.2 board i had a v2.2 board with lspe2 motor and it ran 53.6mph with the whoa nelly it went 47mph with slower ecceleration and it eventually it overheated but the v2.2 board ran strong as nails and btw a v2.2 board with 8.4 lithium-ion 2s and chilli will do 48mph which is what i got with a radar gun

Lithium cells are 8.2/8.4V under NO LOAD(start up, not driving).

When you put it on the ground and drive they drop to 7.4v(lipo) or 7.2v(li-ion).

The X2 light speed pro burns a v2.2 up..pulls too many amps and the resistance in the v2.2 overheats the fets.

If the v2.2 was so good, why doesn't AM mention technical specs like voltage/amp/RESISTANCE(BIG ONE) readings?

From my past experience (I got high quality FETs, but) you would have to get at least a 2x5 stack to run a 14T safely.

Carbon brushes wouldn't make it run any less hot, it would still overheat your 2x2.

Definitely put both neo mags and carbon brushes on a 14T motor or you won't have enough torque to get to full speed.

26T runs fine on 2x2, but once you start moving down it becomes more and more intense.

I used to have a 12T motor (X-2LSPE) and it required 2x6 stack for more than one run.

2x5 stack is the best you can do today for a 15T motor.

--yes neo mags and carbon brushes (and lipo) will be the best you will get out of your motor.

Try adding some turns to that armature or you'll have one expensive project.
