@DrB231 Something else that sometimes work is hold forward for a while at the left side of the door. Once again it seems to be more based on luck than skill if the door opens or not. o.o;
@PRERADOVIC2 Yeah, I think you're right. Quake 1 & 2 are probably in the same universe, and the Strogg are the leftovers of Shub Niggurath's demon/monster army, concentrated and independent. After all, they're so focused on never ending war and bloodshed, that it would only make sense if they were monsters without a cause that spread their will to killing everything on to other races they assimilate.
@AshtrayWisdom An alternative way around this is to find the music online, then just burn it on a CD. All it does is read from whatever CD you have inserted in and it plays the respective track for whatever stage you're on. If you want it to play the correct track, you need to put a "filler" in for track No. 1 (I have like a 1 second audio clip), otherwise it won't play the correct track like it does on the original CD. (track 1 was always omitted on the Quake games)
I think it has to do with the availability of weapons. The first episode was pretty easy, but if I had to pick the hardest I'd say the Abandoned Mine or the Military Complex.
Having a super hard secret level would have been the icing on the cake for this masterpiece of a mission pack.
Guys, does anyone have trouble with the locked keycard door? To me, it won't open AT ALL - I had to noclip past it.

could this be ported to psp?

it may be because I'm playing using darkplaces, but I can't open the gold keycard door.

@DrB231 I had the same problem, what worked was constantly pushing back and forth into the door, if you're lucky it does open.

@Omgarrett I held forward down and it worked, thanks! Guess I should have been more patient/aggressive?

@DrB231 I really think it is just a bug with that specific door in the Darkplaces engine because it doesn't seem to happen anywhere else in the game.
Glad it worked atleast! :D

What difficulty? I'm guessing either hard or nightmare.

did you know if you went right up to those blue force-fields, and used the nail gun, you can pretty much shoot the enemies behind them

strangely, this is the hardest level in E1 of this mission pack, the others were far to easy on easy mode
