I prefer to hear the illusion of 'sound effects' by using just the voices available on the organ, coupled with the player's imagination and skill to pull it off. Here it's all done for you - kinda pitiful because you're so limited to what's provided for you.
Where would you REALLY use these effects unless you were doing a sound track which involves RECORDING? No good for live music!
Okay, I'm primarily a keyboardist who has been getting into old analog theatre organs, but these newer organs just sound like cheap versions of keyboards (General MIDI) I used to own in the 80s.
The old analog organs have that "theatre pipe" organ sound - at least somewhat, but these new ones just sound like over priced 80s synth.
yep your bang on wat you say.. and.,.you had to play them in the 80`s // to many autos nowadays thats why its dying today ..ppl cant play like they could years back
