@britty67 Youre right, the FZ1 can run with any sportbike on the street and is way more versatile not to mention you can ride all day without a doctor. If youre a pro on the track then buy a race bike.Plastic is for racing or looking like youre something you are simply not, go practical and fast, go naked.

@britty67 Really though the new Ninja 1000 is a faired version of the z1000 not the zx10. Not a sport bike as much as a sport touring bike...although gsxrful was trolling. I had a FZ1 too. Great bikes.

Gorgeous bike! It's a shame how Japanese aren't recognized for their styling designs but they create some of the best looking bikes. I like the frame better on this than those antiquated trelis frames on Ducati monsters.

I just got my new 2007 fz1 carbon gytr exhaust flush mounts and windscreen the best damn bike I have ever rode I love it screw an r1 I would rather be comfortable and enjoy my rides instead of being sore after every one. I still love the r1 but I will stick with the fz1

@britty67 valid point to make, sport bikes are no fun to ride 500+ miles in one day, i can take my fz1 to the other coast of florida and back in the same day, sometimes i will ride down to the keys and back only stopping for gas and food - my friend went with me one time on his R1 and complained the whole time about how much pain he was in lol, there is something special about unclad sport bikes that give me a warm happy feeling... =D

Its just amazing. i dont have any dislikes neither. Its easy to ride, has a good handling in every situation and its power is amazing. also the engines vibration is like zero.

So if you are looking for a freat naked bike, let me tell you that you have just found it. You wont be disappointed by the buying ;)

Got a question about the windshield. i'm also thinking about buying one, cause wenn go 200km/h+ the wind almost blows me down from the seat. but i dont know if it is effective enough because of its small size.

Great bike. Where did you get the 'Tail Tidy' from and did you contemplate 'chopping' the bracket arm down. It definately looks tidier with the number plate closer to the tail.

cost me about £8500, but i had the extras such as exhuast which was over £400 srceen £90 foot pegs abot £ 300 tail tidy dont remember plus this bike has ABS . i reckon the standard bike should be £7000ish. great bike , i love it, handles like a 600 till you open the throttle up.
