The Nazi Salut John throws is not just him having a laugh at the mad crowds it was actually cause he queried the Mayor about the state of the NHS dental treatement in Liverpool and got a shocked dismissal as though he shouldn't be asking him such things when he was just a musician so he turned round,cocked a cheeky grin and threw a brief Nazi salute LOL. True fact! XxX
if you listen to their accents from the later years (1970s) and compare them to the ones they have now, they're really different. especially george's.
John says to Ringo- it looks like Nuremberg- I want to do one of these... (Nazi salute) and does so- Ringo says "oh dont" and John pulls it down and laughs at his own effrontery. Funny
