  • Thanks so much for this video!! I'm going to attempt the turkey. Hope it looks as good as yours. :))

  • @branfriend5 You can do it :D

  • @CookingWithCarolyn Thanks :))

  • Hi Carolyn..Plan on cooking the cabbage, tenderloin and mac and cheese tomorrow. How do I roast the peppers if I don’t have a gas stove? How do I do it in the oven?

  • @easternstar12 You can do it under the broiler or roasted them in the oven at a high temp. like 450 degrees. Just keep an eye on them. Thanks :)

  • Looks like a surgery at the begining XD

  • Ymmmmmm.....luv that fried cabbage and turkey, go, go, go sweet Carolyn!!! = D

  • girl !!!! i want yo turkey!!!!

  • hey id like to ask u 1 question! ur video on "crispy taquitos, guacamole n roasted tomato salsa" in dat u roasted da tomatoe in an oven is it possible to roast it on open flame? just da way u roasted bell pepper in this video??

  • @nikki3270 Thanks for asking, I wouldn't put the tomatoes over the oven eye because of it's juices probably dripping, but you can try roasting them in a shallow dish under the broiler...but you gotta watch 'em, the broiler does its work fast :)

  • That looks awesome. We fry our turkey every Thanksgiving. They always turn out great. So moist.

  • Thanks for another great this looks amazing. I have to try this before Thanksgiving hehe.

  • That looks soooooo good! I'm so looking forward to Thanksgiving!

I LOVE fried turkey...tastes better than any other meat out there. Never had fried cabbage, though. Gotta try it. Wooow.. I'm REALLY enjoying the new look of your videos. • great vid!! i never heard of that way of injection xD

anyway, shouldn't you do the vegetables (I mean the cutting) before you put the chicken in the fryer? :p

    btw I've subscribed!

  • @MartijnMuijsers Hi, it's ok to do it either way. It's your preference :)

  • I look forward to this series!!! Loving your videos as always!!!

  • Wow this is such a professional looking video, straight out of food network. Bobby Flay better watch his back. I could just taste the food through my computer. Great Job keep it going girl.

  • Looks fantastic!! Thx for this posting.

  • Very nice video....I will be looking out for that fryer.

  • Great video Carolyn. I gotta get me one of those fryers!! Everything'll be fried then! LOL.. I don't eat turkey but can you do this with a duck?

  • @almondbrown09 Yes!

  • great video! Nice tips, could you mix your seasoning with butter or oil before putting on the bird? Would that work ok instead of a dry rub? love the cabbage!

  • @JimboJitsu Yes that would work also! I've made my own injections with GDS and I actually did that last year for baking it. When you're frying, a good liberal seasoning of your choice should do :) Thanks JimboJitsu

  • Girl, this is like food network.....so proud of you, great job!

  • @DJON405 Wow, I thank you so very, very much. I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

  • Enjoy your videos. Where can I get that fryer?

  • @forevermejo Thanks, these fryers are pretty much every where, Costco, Sam's Club, etc. We got this one at Costco. They've come a long way. I remember when they didn't have such fancy controls. Yeah it's great and you can use it for fish, chicken, or for whatever else you want to fry in large batches.

  • Thank you so much for the video. I just have one question, What type of oil do you use to Fry the turkey in. Thanks again

  • @58cocopuff No thank you, peanut oil works best when frying turkeys in these fryers.

  • This was a great video, professional and very helpful. It was like watching the cooking channel.

  • @SoSoulFull Thank you so much! I'm happy you enjoyed it :)
