Hi Carolyn..Plan on cooking the cabbage, tenderloin and mac and cheese tomorrow. How do I roast the peppers if I don’t have a gas stove? How do I do it in the oven?
hey id like to ask u 1 question! ur video on "crispy taquitos, guacamole n roasted tomato salsa" in dat u roasted da tomatoe in an oven is it possible to roast it on open flame? just da way u roasted bell pepper in this video??
@nikki3270 Thanks for asking, I wouldn't put the tomatoes over the oven eye because of it's juices probably dripping, but you can try roasting them in a shallow dish under the broiler...but you gotta watch 'em, the broiler does its work fast :)
I LOVE your new music/intro .. go head! Wow! Camera angles and all!! This is some Food Network type fabulosity!! "I just called her a her.." ahahahaha!! I LOVE fried turkey...tastes better than any other meat out there. Never had fried cabbage, though. Gotta try it. Wooow.. I'm REALLY enjoying the new look of your videos. You make things even more interesting to watch. You almost make me wanna cook, girl! Almost. Turkey looks awesome! Wish you would've cut a piece ;-) Your uncle's house ROCKS!
Love the video... and as others were saying, it's very professional looking!!! The turkey looks delicious and I can't wait to try the fried cabbage!!! I just subscribed to your channel... can't wait to see your other videos!!!
Awesome work Carolyn. I am looking forward to making the fried cabbage. THe jerk villa here in Chicago makes the best fried cabbage and want to match theirs.
This video is the best one i've seen you do so far its as professional as a food network or cooking channel show please keep up the good work and quality I look forward to viewing your next one on friday.
This video was BEAUTIFUL on so many levels!! Can I borrow your camera person & editing person???? I just LOVE your vids! Keep those fabulous recipes coming!!!
that was a spectacular meal...the cabbage..the huge turkey...the peppers...it all looked splendid ...thanks much for the post and thumbs up on your vid
Wow this is such a professional looking video, straight out of food network. Bobby Flay better watch his back. I could just taste the food through my computer. Great Job keep it going girl.
great video! Nice tips, could you mix your seasoning with butter or oil before putting on the bird? Would that work ok instead of a dry rub? love the cabbage!
@JimboJitsu Yes that would work also! I've made my own injections with GDS and I actually did that last year for baking it. When you're frying, a good liberal seasoning of your choice should do :) Thanks JimboJitsu
@forevermejo Thanks, these fryers are pretty much every where, Costco, Sam's Club, etc. We got this one at Costco. They've come a long way. I remember when they didn't have such fancy controls. Yeah it's great and you can use it for fish, chicken, or for whatever else you want to fry in large batches.
Thanks so much for this video!! I'm going to attempt the turkey. Hope it looks as good as yours. :))
