  • I feel the warm fuzzy feeling Kevin...

  • Glad you're still running. Always good to see your vids. Almost like we were having drinks after hours again, except that most of your vids are in the middle of the day. You seem to like Japan more than Korea. Don't tell me you like the food better. I mean really, do they have anything that beats samkyupsal and soju?

  • I managed to run for 60 seconds, and that I was done, utterly ruined. And I'm 22! ¬_¬

  • Yay Tokyo marathon! I will not be running in it being that I have not run a marathon in many years.... maybe next year.

    Nice wheels man!

  • that taxi bike was really cleaver. they need to make more merchandise made out of recycled things. 5 starz

  • yeah i know, profiting using free or extremely low-cost resources is a great business venture.

Anyways, i'll just say good luck to Kev on the coming marathons in Japan. I sort of laughed when he said about the Tokyo marathon - registering for a run, that's pure passion of the sport. :)

  • Thanks cool Kevin. :) I always look forward to your videos, and the fact that you have signed up to do yet another marathon... well... OMEDETOU!

I have a few under my belt, and 3 ultras... (nothing close to Badwater size... but yeah)

Thanks for sharing your view of the world.

    :)

  • Anyone who has completed an ultra is a better person than I. BUT...I do hope to join your ranks someday.

    Yeah....the Badwater is soooo BADASSS!

Thanks for watching and I hope you continue to do so :)

  • 61.1 km is my top racing distance so far. :) (Just in case you were wondering) Nearly a marathon and a half... but over a course which was not squeamish about finding every hill along the way... :)

  • Running a marathon? In Japanese summer?

Sounds like suicide to me. I was even having a hard time just lying down doing nothing... :-)

  • Running it November 1st, but training for it now. It's rough, but if you do it wisely...its safe!

    Thanks for watching

  • Hell yeah awesome way to recycle : D

  • I thought so too! Very cool. My student had one made from a Coke can as well :)

  • Beer once again proves its awesomeness!

  • I agree.....whole-heartedly!

  • OK I have to agree that is an awsome toy; someone is very creative. Too bad you dont see vehicles like that in the US.

  • it is very cool....my student also showed me one that was made from an old coke can! Very cool way to recycle!

  • that was very cool!

  • Nice auto-rickshaw toy :P

I have a toy airplane that is made out of recycled beer cans. It was given to be as a gift when someone I know went to Cuba.

    Good luck in your marathon!

    I don't think I could every run a marathon, I am a little too heavily built I think :P

  • The toy from Cuba sounds very cool!

Anyone can run a marathon with proper focus, training and a lot of willpower. I have to admit, I quit smoking 6 years ago.....training for a marathon was easier! :)

  • Good luck in the marathon Kevin-teacher!

  • cheers and thanks!

  • Good luck on marathon and big one in Tokyo too!!

  • you should run another one too!

  • Well, "recession" is really just a financial term describing consecutive periods of negative growth. So technically, Japan IS out of its recession, no question. What that means in real terms is of course a different story.

Good luck with the training, you're a braver soul than me :D

  • My parent's friends did not like Kim Dae-Jung very much. but bless him anyways

  • when does marathon training officially start for you?

  • dunno! I suppose about 3 weeks ago I officially got more serous about running. I as only running once a week before that. Now 4 times a week running on the pavement and 2 in the gym working my upper body and core.

I still find some time for beer though ;)

  • cool model/toy. awesome news with the marathon, good luck on it :)

  • Thanks. It is a really cool toy!

  • Really? Tokyo Marathon's by lottery? Could be a good way to force myself to run again, hmmm...

  • the deadline to register is August 31st. You can register online. 30,000 open spots, but more than 200,000 people typically apply. They will email the ones who get in in late October. If you get in, then you pay the fee. DO IT!!!!!

  • 0:08 And I would like to blame the Sun, the star our planet orbits, for the inability to see your face.

  • hehe....I was walking under a train bridge. AND....sometimes my camera gets startled when it sees me...i understand....my poor camera has suffered a lot being pointed at my mug over the years :(
