Glad you're still running. Always good to see your vids. Almost like we were having drinks after hours again, except that most of your vids are in the middle of the day. You seem to like Japan more than Korea. Don't tell me you like the food better. I mean really, do they have anything that beats samkyupsal and soju?
yeah i know, profiting using free or extremely low-cost resources is a great business venture.
Anyways, i'll just say good luck to Kev on the coming marathons in Japan. I sort of laughed when he said about the Tokyo marathon - registering for a run, that's pure passion of the sport. :)
61.1 km is my top racing distance so far. :) (Just in case you were wondering) Nearly a marathon and a half... but over a course which was not squeamish about finding every hill along the way... :)
Anyone can run a marathon with proper focus, training and a lot of willpower. I have to admit, I quit smoking 6 years ago.....training for a marathon was easier! :)
Well, "recession" is really just a financial term describing consecutive periods of negative growth. So technically, Japan IS out of its recession, no question. What that means in real terms is of course a different story.
Good luck with the training, you're a braver soul than me :D
dunno! I suppose about 3 weeks ago I officially got more serous about running. I as only running once a week before that. Now 4 times a week running on the pavement and 2 in the gym working my upper body and core.
the deadline to register is August 31st. You can register online. 30,000 open spots, but more than 200,000 people typically apply. They will email the ones who get in in late October. If you get in, then you pay the fee. DO IT!!!!!
hehe....I was walking under a train bridge. AND....sometimes my camera gets startled when it sees me...i understand....my poor camera has suffered a lot being pointed at my mug over the years :(
I feel the warm fuzzy feeling Kevin...

Running a marathon? In Japanese summer?
Sounds like suicide to me. I was even having a hard time just lying down doing nothing... :-)

We have tuktuk's here in Amsterdam as well.
And I don't think Japan is out of the recession, even if they made some growth. They're doing a lot better than other countries though.
