  • It is truly incredible how American creationists manage to infiltrate every single video comments and just blast their shit everywhere like an atomic bomb.

What is wrong with these people? Creationists are being laughed upon in the modern society, and somehow one of the most advanced countries in the world has the most of these fundamentalistic morons.

It is stunning to me, as I live in Europe. Stunning.

  • The music in the trailer is Smetana's Ma Vlast Moldau. If you'd like to hear the full orchestral version performed by the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, it is available on our YouTube channel. On January 4th, we will make this track available as a free download for the day. View our channel or our Facebook page for details. EMHClassicalMusic

  • Ugh, I can't find Terry Mallick's Tree of Life trailer!

  • Did not Darwin dismiss his theory before he died?

  • not sure if thats accurate, if it is, he did it so threats, that he no doubt received from religious kooks.

also, many parts of his theories have been revised and expanded upon and better understood due to evidence.

also, recently we have realised/proven that multiple, simple species can become a single species.

attempts at predatory behaviour can result in dna/rna combinations and new species, based on the ones that combined inadvertently.

  • @CorporateAllianceAus funny you use the word theory to make a point absolute. the truth which you are afraid of is that inorganic can not produce organic. it has yet to be done and what it takes to create a single cell organism by chance is improbable close to impossible. i have nothing against science, in fact i think it can compliment the existence of God. "The wonder of the universe" has a nice take on evolution. I hope you find the truth brother

  • organic is MADE of "inorganic". your comment displays your ignorance of the concept of organic and inorganic and your general incapacity to grasp physics.

it has been shown and proven that it requires mere interaction of "inorganic" matter (which is an oxymoron). organic matter, to not be a naive retard, is new elements created by life. which, again, is an interaction of elements. elements are not alive and can not be alive. life isnt really alive, technically.

  • theory does not mean opinion or idea. idiot. this "theory", is simply a narrative of reality.

there is no other possibility or way for life, or anything else, to arise

got common sense. exactly, COMMON sense. ie, general population, poorly educated, typical and average intellect.

it is absolutely correct that evolution happens and is happening.

a nice "take" on evolution? there is not take, there is reality, which is not subjective.

    embarrassing

  • @CorporateAllianceAus suppose it is too much to ask to have a civil conversation? i'm not trying to belittle you, just trying to see why you think the way you do. ill respect you whether you believe in God or not. I don't hate you any less for it. I do want to ask how is something a narrative of reality when it hasn't been proven? You say it is reality when the world knows that it hasn't been proven.

  • @CorporateAllianceAus so what does theory mean if it isn't an opinion or idea?

  • a theory is a description of the evidence and what it implies/shows.

theory is not just an idea about something or a feeling.

it CAN be just an idea, if there is insufficient evidence to prove it.

to uneducated people with no understanding, theory is a nice word to throw around out of context, mostly to embarrass themselves by thinking their failure to understand its meaning is ammo.

evolution is readily observable. its a continuum/phenomena that exists, not an idea about what may exist.

  • @CorporateAllianceAus

I suppose a few hundred years ago you would have laughed at me if I told you the earth was round.

Just because most scientists accept the theory of evolution does not make it absolute fact. Show me a missing link, if the theory is true there should be thousands of fossilized missing links out there.

But the fact is after almost 100 years of this debate neither side can prove wther evolution is absolute fact or not. We need to think outside the box this time.

  • @borntwelvetwentyfive you are the one sounding like the medieval man laughing on us for telling you the Earth is round

  • I'm guessing I'm not the only one who was expecting to see Sean Penn and Brad Pitt not David Attenborough huh?

  • BRAD PITT MOVIE?

  • @harliette The trailer is coming soon. Keep a look out for it.

  • I love david attenborough. I also love evolution. It gives me a good argument against my blind religious friends

  • @staggaz32 evolution is a theory you cant argue unless its proven just like gravity

  • it has been lol

  • @staggaz32 my friend it is you who is blind and God will soon forgive you

  • at the gates of heaven? Not trying to have a go just wondering when he will forgive me

  • @staggaz32 in your heart my man

  • if god exists, it will be proud that we are discovering how he/she/it has made physics that allow matter to interact and see life arise.

if anything, religious people should look at evolution as evidence for god.

dunno how people can look into a bible for reality, instead of looking around at reality itself.

seriously, evolution is readily observable and obvious and aspects of it happen THE MOMENT an organism has to deal with a new problem.

if real, god created the means for evolution.

  • @CorporateAllianceAus Can't agree with you mate. I believe as humans we always have to have somthing to fall back on for us to feel comfortable. Hence we beleive in god, when we die we will be accepted into heaven. What's so wrong in the thinking that there is nothing to look after us but ourselves in this universe?

  • science has yet to explain how inorganic created organic. simply can not be done

  • yes it can and we have proven it.

maybe you should consider reading recent developments and evidence.

there is no catalyst required for matter to interact and life to begin.

again, like i have said to some other kook.

if god exists, it created the physics that allowed evolution to produce planets, elements and the forces required for life to arise.

reality is in the bible, not within "gods" natural world. look to the bible for answers, not nature itself! (lol)

    are you retarded?

  • this makes much more sense than the concept of religions and god

  • i thought this was Terry Mallick's Tree Of Life. i was interested in seeing Chivo Lubezki cinematography. bump!

  • @godfatherofwiseguys

his name is Emmanuel Lubezki, not Chivo

  • Chivo is his nickname. and directors call him Chivo.

  • @godfatherofwiseguys oh i did not know that, lol

  • @godfatherofwiseguys "i was interested in seeing Chivo Lubezki cinematography" OH FUCK YOU.

i thought it was Mallick's too, but still- FUCK THAT COMMENT.

  • @BryterJonas do you hate the man? i think that guy is extremely talented, and is a big part to Malick's achievement in New World.

the guy is a master cinematographer or natural lighting, and hand held photography. Children of Men, Y Tu Mama Tambien.

  • @godfatherofwiseguys Wow I can't explain that comment. I must've been in a terrible mood.

  • the narrator sounds like al pacino

  • Are you kidding?

That "narrator" is SIR David Attenborough, if your comment had at least an iota of merit, it woudl be Al Pacino sounding like Attenborough; not the other way around.

  • how can order come about from disorder?

  • define what you mean with order and disorder and what you expect it to be.

are we talking cosmos or life here?

  • isn't the theory of the big bang, disorder resulting in order?

  • uhmm its quiet a bit more complicated than that. It also depends on how you define order and disorder.

  • okay well you tell me if this makes any sense. we take all the needed ingredients required to build a house, and throw them on a lot of land, will we just get a house?

  • If you are happy to live in a pile of rubble. Otherwise no, but also keep in mind that there is no thoery about the universe coming to existance that states anything even simular to this.

  • okay then, so the universe had to have been created then.

  • uhmm how did you come to that conclusion?

  • there's just too much order for it to come about by chance. we put faith in people that atom do exist, and the order in the universe implys by mean of the order around us that it couldn't have come about by chance. yes?

  • "there's just too much order for it to come about by chance"

Where is the order we are talking about? In one of those giant blobs of hydrogen? Honestly I see more order in that pile of rubble you where building.

  • @marvininniss It can, if the order is local, and it creates disorder in the surroundings. A highly ordered crystal can be spontaneously formed from a solution, but it has to release heat and put more disorder to the surrounding universe.

Same thing is with life. There can be highly ordered forms as cells, but they have to create a whole lot of mess to stay that way. And they do.

  • Does anyone know when/if it will be on air in U.S.? Darwin's 200th birthday is coming...

  • i agree it was very well done

  • perhaps one of the best uses of animation to illustrate a point.
